South Africa is developing into a beautiful place that looks after its farmers and citizens, our country is declining into a 3rd world shithole that treats its farmers and citizens disgracefully.
Marvellous video Andrew, I hope you both enjoy your South African Adventure. They certainly appreciate farmers more than our Government do because they understand the importance of being self sufficient. 👍.
What a fantastic. Start to your holiday I hope you. Enjoy your train journey in the Blue Train it looks awesome enjoy your Break Rhonda & Andrew it will certainly be an experience the break will do you good what we have just seen was mind boggling enjoy your trip Andrew and stay safe In
Lovely country my friend was born in south Africa and went over to spend it with her dad . Didn't want to come back . I went to Kenya years ago and much the same . Our country is 3 rd world getting. And getting worse year after year. Have a lovely time .
What a place!! Nice to see different corners of the world, i worked with a guy in australia who's parents owned a tobacco plantation in Zimbabwe in the late 90's. He said they had armed guards all around the farm! I know mugabe kicked alot of the farmers off the land, ive always wondered what happened to him! Happy travels Andrew and Ronda.
Crikey Andrew, they could show the brits a thing or two, what a lovely place and lovely people, how could you not enjoy that place, it's what you call "Organised"😉 ,wonderful video as usual 👍
What an amazing update Andrew. Could t get over how shocked your driver was at the cost of stuff in Britain. The train drivers is all down to greed I could tell you a thing or two about train drivers 😡 the government is certainly killing this country. Hope you both have a lovely break and can’t wait to see the update from the train. 😊
Looking forward to seeing video of the Blue train journey. I had hoped to go on it but my circumstances won’t now allow it, so your video will be a good substitute. Have a great time. I’m looking for a drainage expert near Gainsborough, any suggestions.
Great video Andrew, I reckon this government should take a leaf out South African government and appreciate the farmers better. Have a lovely Holiday .
Fascinating first look at your South African adventure. Look forward to more! Everything looks so pristine! Excellent farm shop. Not been to SA, but we had a superb Safari in Kenya some years ago. Looks a better place than currently here in the UK.
Have given you a miss for a few months, I thought you were getting rather tedious but thanks for this enjoyed your take on SA and look forward to the next.
Went round a diamond mine yesterday, that was one of the most interesting things I’ve seen so will do an update just on that, another on the blue train, another on the vineyards and Osterich farm we are visiting.
Have a good holiday Andrew, refresh yourself, but please come back safe ,because you are needed as the fight you and the other farmers I believe you are needed more, than you can possibly imagine , to lose our farming and our cultural way of life the very thoughts of it going to a mad man that’s net zero mad no !!!!
Watching one of your old updates, specifically the one where your new sprayer was delivered, the lorry driver mentioned transporting pea viners. Have you ever grown peas?
I'm only a few minutes in Andrew, very interesting you're chat to August. Have a look at some of Geoff buys cars vids he does some exposes re cars transport etc.
I flew to Johannesburg in 1966 took 36hours in a Douglas DC6 a petrol engine thing via Ostend, Basle , Tripoli and several more African airports to boring to list . We came back just over a year later after living in Pretoria and attended Hillview high school. The beer drank by the Africans is a very cloudy drink made with millet sorgam and other grains much cheaper than lion beer . We sailed back from Cape Town took 36 hours by steam train from pretoria
Great video Andrew, wish the weather was as nice and warm here in uk as it is with you. Do you know whats happening with Housham Sprayers? Are they re branding or have they closed down? Seems to be a lot of talk about them on farming forums
I don’t really know. As you say, all sorts of rumours and screenshots of announcements doing the rounds. I spoke to one of the directors last week, apparently they’re fine, just going to have a restructure.
Is Alias his alias? 😊 couldn't resist. Sorry. I beg your pardon, i misunderstood his name. I was about to ask if milk is raw. Great to see and it's what I've been buying for the last few months since finding a farm not too far away.
@ I once landed in an BA ATP in Belfast international in a storm you had to hang on to the seats etc the pilot apologised when we landed commenting it was a bit breezy after that all landings are good landings 😂😂
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard Like the previous President Zuma given 200 million from the UK to build houses for the people, so built 7 houses for his wives
A bit disappointing to hear you keep telling the guides how bad things are in the UK for farmers. Comparing food and drink prices with SA prices, where the average annual income is £8825. How many locals there could afford a trip on The Blue Train. That said, enjoy your holiday
He is a taxi driver. I know it’s relative but you’d never see an advert for fertiliser in a British airport. Shows the different importance placed on farming.
This country is going downhill. There is absolutely no incentive to have any kind of business and nobody is rewarded except the very rich. Years of Tory mismanagement and the only solution that the labour government can come up with is tax the working people into the ground. I foresaw this I have to say. We need some clever, different, innovative approach. This country is full of clever people. We are better than this.
Marvellous looking place very clean and well kept looking forward to the next part
Fabulous looking place .hope yous have a great holiday. Fully deserved.
