    "It's hard to build confidence if you find something wrong w every punt." Great mental game advice.

    Surpised Ty Long wasn't brought in for the Birmingham Stallions this year after Blewitt was injured.
    Great video! You're getting some serious training from these guys. Class acts.

    So, only one punt was bad... 40 yards, you didn't hit the ball in the right spot it seemed. Others were about 55 yards. Great.

    I don't know ball but it seems like CFL punting would be such a welcome change for you than your semi-pro team since so many of your punts were short yardage, don't get a touchback, heels deep in mud with all the pressure in the world so to be able to just hit a big ball

    Ty Long is the man but if you want some more help I recommend getting in touch with Rocky Willingham he coached me and a lot of other punters like Thomas Morstead for example. He will get you right.

    Yo Isaac how you doing man? I'm going into my junior year of high school and I'm transferring schools. I play FS & SLWR, but this past offseason, I've been punting just for fun, but now I wanna do it for real. My longest punt was 44 yards and with a 3.1 hangtime. I know alot of other guys wanna play QB, running back, or linebacker, but I still wanna guarantee myself the starting job. Anything I should work on?

      Just practice your drop at this point! Get consistent there and it will make the rest of your job much easier!

    I guess I just don’t understand, and I was confused in your last video about it. Why would the goal be distance if you can’t fair catch? Wouldn’t a longer hang-time be more beneficial in that situation?

    • @teo_heel

      You need to drive your opponents back with the punt. They need to return it, so why not to force to return it from the farthest spot from your own end zone?

    • @goob3826

      @@teo_heel I see that but also why not stall the return with hang time to get the coverage team in position for the tackle?

    • @IsaacACTUALLYPunts

      So due to the halo rule if you have too much hang time your players will be forced to stop their feet which allows for blocks to be set up and gives advantage to the returner. If you can force the returner to catch it while running sideways or backwards they can close the gap and the returners adjustment gives valuable artificial hang time

    • @teo_heel

      @@goob3826 Yes, there's also a five yard halo of free space that you need to give, so yeah, hanging the ball in the air isn't the best idea, you will allow blockers to make a route for the returning.

    • @teo_heel

      @@IsaacACTUALLYPunts yes, I forgot about the Halo. That's the main reason.
