DUDE YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH OF A BREAKTHROUGH THIS FEELS FOR ME! Thanks for the tips bro. I was really feeling like I was at a block before watching this
Another thing you can think about is keeping your shoulders forward, with a slight lean towards the ball for drills. that will force your hip flexor not to rise as much thus keeping your knee down
Great vid! I have had this issue now for several months and have been trying to adjust when I drop vs. getting my leg locked and keeping my knee lower at impact. Did the drills and hit a few worthy punts that felt effortless. Thanks for sharing.
Im in 8th grade rn last year for my first punts i was punting 60+ but it was not high but then when i kicked it high it was not far but after watching this i have been able to punt 60+ high and far Thanks dude and u just got 1 more subscriber
No idea why you created another channel. This should be a series. I wouldn’t know about it except it showed up low in my feed and I happened to scroll.
It's actually funny seeing it broken down into steps like this (I do see the benefit here BTW) though it's counter-intuitive to how we do it in Australia, growing up with AFL, our form was never critiqued like this. We simply kicked a ball 10,000 times in hundreds of different ways until we found our natural kicking form. Whatever gave us the most consistent accuracy was the style of kick we went with. We let it play out naturally with experience rather than trying to force a standard "correct" type of technique.
Great tips. Thanks for posting! My 13yo son is an aspiring punter. Do you set a limit for yourself on volume of punts per day or per week? We want to avoid overuse injury. My son is an elite athlete in another sport, but overuse injuries keep getting in the way. .
It's really hard because you need the reps at punter to get consistent, instead of limiting reps I limit how far I try to hit them and aim for taking more reps but at a much lesser power
@@IsaacACTUALLYPunts great advice. Thanks! Do you keep track of how much you punt in a session or do you just listen to your body and stop when you feel like you did enough?

I cant improve even tho i watched this full video and a few more and lots of tips... for me the ball most of the time doesnt hit my foot or hits the side of my foot and goes nowhere... other than that my best punts dont even go high or long at all and dont go straight at all... barely 10 yards and hardly any hangtime with my best punts... thanks for helping me stay a bad punter even tho i used the best tactics i guess

Hello, I am a incoming freshman and recently wanted to become a punter. I’ve always had a love for the game, can you give me steps?
