    Great video. I've wanted to do maintenance on my X01 shifter for the past year but have been afraid of tackling this procedure. Tonight I've disassembled, cleaned, greased, and reassembled my X01 with the aid of your video. Thanks again.

    Thank you! My shifter was completely unusable and this brought it back to brand new working condition.

    Thank you for this video, very helpful. The springs are indeed super difficult to keep in place under tension while assembling, I was nearly buying a new shifter after two hours of trying.

    Thank you for this guide, I was going to scrap my perfectly working shifter because I made a mess of it ! but with your rebuild video I did rebuild it easily! thanks again, wish you a good day sir!

    Great tutorial! It helped me assembling my x01! The spring at the very bottom is crucial - maybe the flange around the upshift lever as well. This is something which prevents lever from returning properly. Other fact is that (in my case) the ratchet was pushing to tightly on the steel element below - i had to add 2nd washer.

      Interesting regarding second washer, love when people adding self improvements ))

      Good to know, probably the main difference is in the material, that are more light but the mechanical principal is the same.

    My NX shifter crapped out. Took it apart now it's in a ziplock bag in 50 pieces. Ordered a new XO1 model instead. Thing was more difficult to work on than a Rubik's cube.

      @alexeyshamov7795  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Firstly congrats on the upgrade NX -> X01 is serious step up. Second, it takes some yin and yang to put this mo**erfu**er back together but not sure if that NX is worth it...

    I'm rebuilding an xx1 12 spd shifter which is almost identical. I got to the part where you're peicing everything together right before you put the cover back on. I'm able to push the big shift paddle, but pushing the smaller paddle it does not return. Any ideas what step I may have missed or done wrong?

    • @alexeyshamov7795

      Hey, it's probably has something to do with tension spring that should turn red plastic sprocket back.

    Great video, I have the X1 which seem like the build is almost identical... however, similar to what 2 others posted... i have watched intently, an I can only shift 5x instead if 10x ... and the tension on the trigger seems to decrease the higher I shift. not sure if I missed something... are you able to duplicate my issue and help guide me to a fix. Thanks

      Hey, this was a while ago since I've done it so it's hard to recall all the details but maybe you installed sprocket that below the red cap in wrong direction or maybe it's position not right. Also have you mounted correctly the bottom spring, that responsible for up shifting?

    • @brianwelsh5336
      @brianwelsh5336 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexey Shamov thanks for the response, I did speak to SRAM they stated that is has to do with the clocking of gear, but they could not be specific.

    A bit of necro. But do you know if its possible to convert from single click trigger to multi?

    • @alexeyshamov7795
      @alexeyshamov7795  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have no idea... Why do you have trigger for single speed in the first place?

    • @tydlig
      @tydlig 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexeyshamov7795 Thats what the bike came with. ebikes have single click sometimes for "safety". Just makes it worse in my opinion. Changing gears is slower.

    How do I get back the 11 clicks, I just have 5 clicks? Thanks

    • @alexeyshamov7795
      @alexeyshamov7795  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You probably placed big sprocket on the orange disk wrong or orange disk itself... pay attention that when you push the liver each click rotates orange sprocket counter clockwise so when you place it back it should be maximum clockwise and hole that holds the cable should be on the same line with the cover hole. Did mine explanation make any sense?

      Такая же проблема. Все сделал в соответствии. Но колесико дальше пяти щелчков двигаться не хочет :((

    • @alexeyshamov7795
      @alexeyshamov7795  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Алексей Дорохин в какую сторону 5 щелчков? Обрати внимание на шестеренку под красным блюдцем, она должна быть одета в три выступающих паза. Положение в котором её одеваешь с верху должно быть на максимум повёрнуто в право, таким образом получишь полный спектр щелчков

    • @АлексейДорохин-м2х
      @АлексейДорохин-м2х 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Спасибо за положение красного блюдца. Разобрался. + Шестеренка с буковкой R была чуть недоодета и паз не заходил в нужное отверстие в красном блюдце.
