They just released a WarFrame sponsered video. Warframe loved this cover and asked them to do one for their new game.
She reacted to it already. That's what she was referring to in the intro.
She has.
Thank you for pointing out those luscious harmonies. This is one of my favorites of theirs from 2024. Happy 2025!
Great reaction! They are so good at these... us Patreons never know what we are going to get next 😆. Did a quick search and I see you haven't done two of their biggest gaming songs yet: Valhalla Calling and Dragonborn Comes (Skyrim - beautiful harmonies here!). Thanks! 🌹🕊
I love that the higher harmonies are ascending while the bass harmony is descending at the same time. That contrast is just yummy!
I actually listen to this one quite a lot on my playlist. It's become a favorite for me! Such a fun reaction!! Thank you! ❤
VP made this song much better! Great harmonies. Wow! Love the feel of this song. New setting for this group. The outro give you a glimpse of the behind the scene's. As always, Danielle, love your reaction. TY
Such a fun cover!!
I love your reactions to Voiceplay ❤ I even went to your video file to watch your first reaction to them again. You haven't list a bit if enthusiasm 😊 They're amazing 😊
Thank you! They amaze me every time!!
Love this song and the cover. Thanks for the reaction!
Thanks for another VoicePlay reaction/analysis! They are always "stellar"...just a bit more with this one 🙂
One of my favorites, among many greats, from Voiceplay.
Geoff hits something like fifteen G1s in this. The back and forth between four and five part harmonies is stunning.
And a small fyi - during Cesar's verse, Eli and Omar's bgvs are waaayyy more intricate than you think.
Voiceplay: "Jesus Geoff! How many G1s did you write into this song?!"
Geoff: "Yes."
And then he complains about LAYNE being so demanding and pushing everyone to the limit. 😆 Pot meet kettle?
@ There's a difference between doing to someone else and doing it to yourself.
Love the contrary motion they use with Geoff going lower and lower while the others go up.
Yes!!
That is so cool.
Yep, Voiceplay keeps proving that video games have some of the best music.
Video games have SUCH good music!! I totally agree with you!
Glad to see you vibing with this one so much!!
Fun fact: watch Layne’s hands. He forgot his gloves a few times during breaks. They’re always so perfect so I enjoy seeing that they are, in fact, human. 😂
Eli is my fav hands down
Its ok. We downloaded this song to our playlists too.
I see that you caught the "Cold Below" earworm. Symptoms include bopping your head, dancing with the music, and even singing along. Next thing you know, you can't get that song out of your head. I know I can't. I don't mind. It's incredible. A few other commitments:
- You have a great voice. Perhaps you could do a song with VoicePlay.
- If I tried to make the noises that Layne did, my tongue would fall off.
- This song is from the video game Warframe. The makers of the game were so impressed by this, that they contacted VoicePlay to have them do the song for their new game. The song is titled Party of Your Lifetime. You reacted to it recently. In a way, it is a sequel to Sleeping in the Cold Below.
- Shortly after this came out, Geoff came out with another song from a video game: Unshaken. It's from the Red Redemption game. It is a true masterpiece. You'll love it. However, please beware of the dreaded Unshaken earworm.
- You should do a reaction video with your husband. Introduce him to VoicePlay and Geoff.
I love voiceplay so so much. This is awesome. Its my dream to meet them one day
Ooo me too!!
@daniellemariesings would you ever consider reacting to cesars solo stuff, because , my goodness its beautiful *melts into a puddle*

Also, im convinced layne is a cyborg from Another planet. ALERT THE MEDIA!!!
I agree!!!
If I ever tried to make the sounds Layne did, my tongue would fall off.
@scottboa2738 RIGHT!? im convinced he was dropped off on earth from another planet, by the mothership as some experiment. Hes so freaking talented, my goodness!
Since your husband is a gamer, and you are a a music lover, you might want to listen to some of the following together since they’re from their fairly extensive list of game themes. If he has a favorite, maybe you could get him to come on with you to react? That would be fun!

Love all the voiceplay reactions! :) You should really check out Erik Grönwall, think you would like it!
Dimash pls
Fun reaction! You have to check out VoicePlay's newest, Party of Your Lifetime, from Warframe 1999. th-cam.com/video/dFydsza6wyM/w-d-xo.html The game devs heard VP's version of this one and asked them if they do a cover from their new game. They paid them for it, letting them film it on their own at Layne's Pattycake studios. I've listened to the "original" from the game itself and it is a pale comparison to what Voiceplay was able to do with it! VP imbues it with far more intensity and energy, not to mention superior vocal prowess and a fabulous arrangement! I bet they wished they'd discovered VP sooner so they could have done the soundtrack for the game!
