I have an opportunity next week Tuesday to speak to an American company (I'm in South Africa) to convince them to spend money (Dollars!!!!!) on advertising their product (that I sell) here in South Africa. Mindset is so important. I am fairly comfortable financially so i have to convince myself to do this.

I think we can never really learn enough. It's been about 5 years since I started budgeting/tracking my expanses at 28 (I saw a friend do it, I got curious and for the next few years, I just tracked my expenses before I learnt about budgeting) and this year I have started to see the fruits of my hard work. For starters, my emergency savings literally "saved" me this year. I always had extra savings (that's how I was raised). However, allocating a name for each dollar has made my financial management so much easier.
