    In this video, we learn how to make chutney using watermelon rinds. Hereafter do not throw the watermelon rinds after eating the watermelon. It uses simple ingredients and the preparation is very easy. It is a perfect sidedish for both idly and dosai.
    Ingredients:
    2 tsp oil
    1 tbsp urad dal
    3 dry red chillies
    1 small onion (1/3 cup), chopped
    1 small tomato (1/2 cup), chopped
    1 cup watermelon rind, chopped
    2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
    Salt to taste
    A small piece of tamarind
    2 tsp oil
    ¼ tsp mustard seeds
    ¼ tsp urad dal
    1 sprig curry leaves
    1/4-1/2 cup water or as needed
    Note: Add tamarind if the tomato is not sour. The tomato I used was very sour, so I haven't added the tamarind in the video. But please feel free to add it if you want your chutney to be tangy.
