I hate that “the defeat of Erwin Rommel” always neglects to point out that he lost because he ran out of fighting materials. Not because Montgomery was any good at his job.

By all means blur out dead bodies ... we wouldn't want young people to understand what war is really about. We need them to go on thinking it's like a video game. This type of censorship is infantilising and putrid. Yesterday I viewed a video about Russia and Stalin, and even people who had died, had been prepared by undertakers, and in their coffins, were blurred. They think we're so fragile. It's condescending and patronising.

It has nothing to with censoring for young people. If I am to be paid, then the progs have to comply with YT GLOBAL standards across all countries sensitivities. Don't assume! :-) Personally, I am anti blurring which this channel owner does.. I have sanitised my versions for licence elsewhere and not one single complaint. If you really need to see suffering burning humans to understand the horrors of war, I suspect you really want a tube of KY jelly with you when you view. Liam Dale

  • @totot57

Sorry, but the repetitive soundtrack gets very annoying. I would also suggest to use chronologically correct footage: a lot of Hitler footage shows him in his early years, in civilian clothes. Once he started WW2 he 'swore' only to wear his 'field-grey' soldier's jackets.
Since this video deals with the deterioration of German war efforts 1943 and on, I would find it appropriate to show footage from those years. Hitler became somewhat 'camara shy' after the Stalingrad defeat in early 1943, and it it's clear why: his aging physical appearance and the strains of war were quite visible. Let's show that to people interested in history and maybe even as a warning to wanna be dictators too.

@jpakos6701 it's not the same. England is one country in the UK 🇬🇧 the union flag has three other countries' flags, Scotland, northern ireland, and England, and those countries, including Wales, all fought against Germany in the WW2 and WW1 they are not collectively known as England they are rightly collectively known as either the UK or Great Britain and Ireland I wouldn't call your country Attica or Macedonia I would call your country Greece

His obsession to humiliate all actors of the Versailles treaty included the United-Sates, is the stronger mistake, he should know it from the first world war, the economic forces from the States is the strongest weapon he can't fight too long.

V1's had no precise technology? They flew and hit targets randomly.

The leader of a country that had illusions of grandeur, didn't listen to anyone, a knowitall, and had a hyper inflated ego. Remind you of anyone in 2024?
