- Well uh, damn. I didn't think I could do this one. This is my second time beating it, as the first time I didn't record it. This challenge wasn't as difficult, or it just seemed that way.
Once again, Instant Health 2 potions are a savior.
This is on HARD Difficulty, the Warden is dealing the most damage he can possibly deal.
Inventory:
Unbreaking 3 Shield
11x Max Turtle Master Potions
5x Strength 2 Potions (only 4 were used)
19x Instant Health 2 Potions (only 18 were used)
This just proves that no matter what you are you can't just beat a guy on drugs.

Edit: You guys are right about their prominence in PvP. I guess they’re only partially overlooked in PvE due to not many situations requiring them to this degree (except things like a mob farms).

Would splashing the health options on both yourself and the warden do damage to it? Idk if the warden is counted as undead
It is classified as undead, but it doesn’t burn in the sun because it’s immune to fire. Since it’s undead, they could also splash strength on both of them because strength/weakness pots have the reverse effect on undead mobs.
@@Swift_Wings false, it is no longer considered as an undead after a certain version, they can be harmed by splashing harming potions.

how do you get so much resistance with the turtle potion? I understand that it gives you stamina 4 and slow for a few seconds, but here you don't see any of that, even speed 2 couldn't balance your speed
Slowness doesn't affect you much when you jump to move. And the resistance effet is normal here
i wish more bosses in the game required the same level of preparation/planning that the warden does, it's a massive shame it doesn't drop anything useful. The wither, dragon, and temple guardian are just such pushovers.

resistance effect reduces 20% damage for each level

you need to jump to avoid it
actually slowness does nothing against jumping, you can try and play with slowness 100 and if always jumping you will be like 1.5 or 2 times slower than usual

How do you make it so that the shield you equip doesn't take up half of your screen lol I hate using shields for that reason

Did you use potion of strength as well? I know just a regular punch takes away one hp, I'm not sure about jumping and punching (can't think of the technical term for that at the moment) and the warden has 500 hp so it would take 500 regular punches.
The name of jumping and punching mechanic is critical hit. Although I'm not sure how much harder you hit with it.
With strenght II you add 6 attack damage to the 1 HP you're dealing, making it essentially as good as an unenchanted diamond sword
@@raphaeld4313 Thank you, that's good to know. I'm not particularly fast at combat, which is why I like minecraft. Like I'd be toast in PVP. I do fight mobs, but I am terrible at it until I get better gear. I have improved over time, but I like that the pace of the game can be what you want it to be.

Strenght II to deal 7 damage per punch instead of 1
Instant health II as the only fast enough health supply

Why isn't he affected by the darkness effect? That is one of the most crucial thing that makes the Warden difficult to fight.

Yeah, I was wondering the same. That disadvantage makes it way harder, but I guess it's fair to take that away for the video. I mean, Mojang really made an almost undefeatable monster with all those characteristics
@@jorgejimenez1554You can actually mimic that ressource pack taking away darkness using only vanilla ressources. Night vision pots help you see in the dark, and going into accessibility settings grant you an option that fully cancels out darkness effect oscillations. Meaning darkness isn't taken away, but your sight is always at its max. And since you're fighting it close range, it's usually enough
