Amal, blue raspberry is just a made up flavor that came from a lab in the 1950's. At the time there were serious concerns by the FDA over the safety of some of the red dyes in foods so they had to use the "supposedly" safer blue 1 dye for raspberry flavored candies, and drinks. Pretty sure one of the first popular uses of blue raspberry flavor was in ICEEs, and then 7-Eleven Slurpees to this day.
