Looking for a fuel source for a generator. This was a lot of help. I won't have to store gas cans waiting for a large storm and have access now to 20+ gallons of fresh fuel, which can be placed back in the car if not needed.
my son put water in a jug down my petrol filler hole , i havent started the car so is the best process to remove seats and drain tank completely ? any problems i might face in a mercedes coupe c250 ?
Hi Where did you get this pressure gauge connector. In my case it is needed to have something to press the pin in order to let the fuel come out. if it is the same one could you please let me know some properties so I could find it in shop. I was searching 2 days and nothing come out. Thank you for great video
Is this a non-PZEV fuel system ??? Is that why the two (2) circular compartment on the floor of the back seats are where the fuel pump (passenger side) and the fuel sending/filter is located? what about those with fuel pumps that are inside and part of the fuel tank that you have to replace the whole fuel tank just to replace the fuel pump? what about that actual removal? and is it under a re-call especially those units that were shipped to california? How many thousands of MBenz with this kind of set-up?

I assume this is not a good way to get rid of very old gas. As it requires you to start the car and let all the bad fuel run through your system

i would never do it!!!!!! fuel pumps on w211 are super expensive parts , running it dry its a very big mistake
They aren't THAT expensive..
And you also don’t have to run it dry just get most of the flowing liquid out and add more fresh gas into the tank
