Mr. Priyash their is less chances to occur crack at right angle. Maximum time crack occurred at flush surface.
But you can also use mesh at corner junction at the same way.

Its depends upon your plaster.. if you have plaster less then then 3/8 soot or 1/2 soot then you should use soft mesh.. rather then other it will crack..

Ar Arun ji chicken mesh destroy due to moisture content. If yours mesh is not with contact moisture then it's safe.
