John's little dance as they were shooting the Bollywood-esque ending was so cute.

It’s a very enjoyable movie; great music, of course... and I think Eastwood’s decision to use the actors who did the Broadway shows on a nightly basis, instead of using Hollywood actors, was a brilliant move.
There were a few faux pas throughout the film; the Ohio State Fair has always been in Columbus, Ohio, (never in Cleveland as shown in the film as they are being arrested); and the scenes of them performing both live and in the studio were pretty inaccurate in terms of things like their distances from microphones, though the various models of mics used - both live and studio - were very authentic.
There were a few songs, such as “December 1963”, and “Who Loves You”, that were recorded in the mid 70’s, that didn’t feature Nick or Tommy, as was portrayed in the film. Then again, the film is a recreation of the Broadway Show, and is part fantasy - in an enjoyable way - and I think Clint Eastwood and the actors did a fine job of conveying the feel and essence of the stage musical on film.
It’s a fun movie, but if you get the chance to see the live touring version of the actual stage show, you definitely should.
    🙏

5:44 far left 'I am famous' that is my head. The back of my head in the front row at the table. lol Not so funny because it is my head and I prepared for 1 month for this? Had Wardrobe made in Van Nuys, California at a Movie Wardrobe Wwarehouse and then showed up to meet Clint Eastwood at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. Hundreds of us here all preparing for a HUGE ROLLS. OMG, all this and i was in 'One Scene with the back of my head showing'. lol This is Hollywood. Life in the big city. I have been in 57 other productions, Mike and Molly, NCIS w/Mark Harmon and I actually have lines so I did do something in the industry and Voice Acting. It is one difficult process though. The industry is tough to millions of us. Some make it and most do not. Revolving doors at the studios. Poor young kids come out from small towns all over America and find their dream. They all want to be Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie etc. Few make it. This is is sad. Those that do we give HUGE PRAISE to and congratulate them. Often they are drinking and doing drugs by the time they do MAKE IT. This is sad. The industry knocks them sideways. Be careful for what you wish for!
