Yeah, high on their own self-righteous narcissism. I'm a huge Wizard of Oz fan, but these two made it virtually impossibly for me to watch that movie. Their behavior is so embarrassing. I am an American Method Actor (Strasberg technique). Playing a role does not have such a psychologically damaging effect on you if you are a professional. What we are witnessing here is either indulgence or mental illness, and if it's illness then I hope she gets the help she needs. Actors - do NOT do this to yourself; this type of fallout is a cautionary tale about keeping your psyche safe in a role. That being said, let's put this into perspective -- they're playing roles from the Wizard of Oz universe, not victims of horrendous crimes. Relax. It's called "play" for a reason; you are PLAYING.
Having been on the stage, it is very alarming at how far they are taking acting outside of its beautiful context. This isn't what acting is about. This is translating activism over onto a role, and indeed taking a serious mental illness and creating outlets for it in ways that should not in any way, shape or form be celebrated, as we are witnessing here.
I mean no offense to your trade, you're clearly one of the sane ones. These two are adult pretenders. Everything about them from their profession to their lifestyle is disingenuous and fraudulent. I'm sorry these two AIDS clowns are defrauding your craft. Wish there were more like you
I don't mind it. I think it's nice to see people growing after an experience like this. It's rare to see someone have such a great accomplishment. Let them enjoy it.
I think what’s especially odd about these interviews is that Ariana showed a different personality before the film…I’m wondering if Cynthia has anxiety and Ariana is extra sensitive in these clips because she’s supporting someone she’s become close with…so it comes across as very odd, because it’s so different.
It’s just a different way of living. I have been this way before, not in front of cameras, but my friends and I deeply love one another and are very vulnerable. I feel sad for people who find this fake (tho it might be in this specific instance, I don’t know either of them well enough to make a judgment), because true platonic love is beautiful and I wish more people could experience it.

I think their behaviors in this interview are definitely interesting. In the beginning of the interview Ariana and Cynthia appear to be overwhelmed with gratitude to be guests for this interview. Most people would say something like, "Thank you for having us here today, we appreciate it!" Instead, they both lean forward in un-nerving unison with wide eyes and spew out, "You will have been the light of the day, you are such a gift, you brought such light into the room, thank you very much for coming into this room today!" Then, contradictorily to her supposed character, and very un-graciously at 4:20, Ariana attempts to literally shoo away the interviewer with her hand like a literal fly in the room in an attempt to comfort, or protect Cynthia because she was getting emotional. What the heck was that about? If she is so sweet, nice, kind and humble then why would she treat ANYONE that way? Especially after just blowing smoke up the interviewers butt in the beginning, "You are such a light, and you are such a gift, but when I switch up on you immediately don't be offended because I don't actually have any respect for anyone." How difficult would it have been for Ariana to say, "Cynthia, would you like to take a break from this interview?" "May we please take a break, I believe we need some time to have some water and a moment of privacy before we finish this interview." That would have shown that she is a respectful, kind person that she so desperately appears to want to portray. Personally, I think they are both full of crap and have let the fame and money get to their heads. Ariana is unable to separate herself from her work as an actor. She has no identity and so we will continue to see her lose herself in whatever she has going on in her career. It is definitely not normal or healthy behavior. I think it does need to be examined by society, and talked about. These are the people that are on our tv's, on the internet, on the news, selling us their products, profiting off of us for the sake of entertainment and they consistently reel us in. Then when we speak out about them and their behaviors, or how they look, or how they act, they turn on us as though they don't deserve to be ridiculed. It's insane.
The clip at the beginning is actually the end of the interview just shown at the start as a preview. Also we don't know if that's what the hand gesture meant. As you said it's very out of character and the interviewer didn't respond by pausing the interview or getting offended so I find it hard to believe. It could have been directed at someone else behind the camera or meant something different to her or the interviewer, like how certain gestures can mean something very different from one group of people to the next based on code, history and inside jokes
When sincerity has left the chat and laying it on extra thick and totally fake becomes the standard and everyone pretends it’s “perfectly normal” behavior.
I swear Ariana didn't use to act like a cyborg? I used to really like her, not so much for her music but her personality, but this makes me cringe a bit.

Yeah psychologically I think that they think they are their characters in real life
Having been on the stage, it is very alarming at how far they are taking acting outside of its beautiful context.

This is not how humans act..
I had a theatrical friend in college who acted like this. It was odd, but it was just her. She really took on the “all the world is a stage”.
I think what’s especially odd about these interviews is that Ariana showed a different personality before the film…I’m wondering if Cynthia has anxiety and Ariana is extra sensitive in these clips because she’s supporting someone she’s become close with…so it comes across as very odd, because it’s so different.
@@OneYellowFlower Why are you trying so hard to find reason in their lunacy? They're just Hollywood weirdos.

THEY MADE me cry YET AGAIN!!!!!!
You can tell how close they are and much closer they've gotten through working on this film together, they're so in sync, even the little sighs lol
Okay weirdo
I think their behaviors in this interview are definitely interesting.
In the beginning of the interview Ariana and Cynthia appear to be overwhelmed with gratitude to be guests for this interview.
Most people would say something like, "Thank you for having us here today, we appreciate it!" Instead, they both lean forward in un-nerving unison with wide eyes and spew out, "You will have been the light of the day, you are such a gift, you brought such light into the room, thank you very much for coming into this room today!"
Then, contradictorily to her supposed character, and very un-graciously at 4:20, Ariana attempts to literally shoo away the interviewer with her hand like a literal fly in the room in an attempt to comfort, or protect Cynthia because she was getting emotional. What the heck was that about? If she is so sweet, nice, kind and humble then why would she treat ANYONE that way? Especially after just blowing smoke up the interviewers butt in the beginning, "You are such a light, and you are such a gift, but when I switch up on you immediately don't be offended because I don't actually have any respect for anyone."
How difficult would it have been for Ariana to say, "Cynthia, would you like to take a break from this interview?" "May we please take a break, I believe we need some time to have some water and a moment of privacy before we finish this interview." That would have shown that she is a respectful, kind person that she so desperately appears to want to portray.
Say No to drugs poeple.
