Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: absolutely not my friend, even in a PC no need to config the ram after installing new one, unless you over clocking and setting parameters on pc for a specific ram option. on this laptops the ram is auto adjusted by bios, the bios has no option for you to config ram. just plug and play 🍻

mmm something is defenatly wrong with the ram module that you got, if you got a 3200 and you have a 2400 on motherboard the bios will downclock the 3200 to match the 2400. not take it down to 933. get a different brand ram return that,

@@uFixTek Hi, did it really take an extra 16GB of ram? A screen shot of Windows or the bios displaying the 20GB of ram would have been helpful; from all the posts I've seen, you can only upgrade this with 8GB to 12 GB...

Secondly, you can add a 16GB RAM in the slot, and it will combine with the 4GB on-board, giving you a total of 20GB. Alternatively, you can opt for an 8GB RAM to get a total of 12GB.
