The Mods we need are
Bepinex (This Helps all our Mods work nicely)

You can Use Either R2Modmanager or the Thunderstore Mod Manager

I can't seem to get it to work, when starting the modded game it just crashes for me
It's broken right now with the Rundown 8 update. I think he's waiting until no more patches to fix it, or someone may have to make a new one that does it
This should be working now, I was able to use it and other mods the other night at least playing vanilla levels
When the mod is not used, it returns to its original state. Is there a way to completely unlock it?
You can use the modded profile and play with vanilla players, but no, the only permanent unlocks are for actually unlocking them via gameplay

Can others see the cosmetics on you too?
Yes, these are vanilla cosmetics, so others will be able to see them. Technically it's not allowed to use mods in matchmaking and such but this does not impact your gameplay tbh

Hey sorry, Are you pressing start modded in the modmanager? launching from steam will not launch with mods
does this still work today?
As far as I'm aware this is still working. It's been a few months since I've last booted GTFO but all the mods I normally use were working

This is cosmetic only, Playing mods with friends regardless will never result in a ban. Some individuals may be salty but there's no reason they would even know. I'd doubt you'd ever have any issues with this specifically, some mods that are game breaking you may have an issue with if using on the Official Discord but most QoL mods are perfectly fine

Yeah it will be broken for now because of the new update but should be fixed soon

It only unlocks the vanilla cosmetics, it doesn't impact your gameplay. You shouldn't have any issues. Some people may get upset if you wear gear you haven't unlocked I guess

Yes, that may or may not appear as I'm not positive how he put it in the mod. As things update some things break
