Beautiful home but please stop putting the tv on the side wall in the the living room. It doesn't make sense. Either put it over the gas fireplace or don't add it all.
Beautiful home! Question, I see a lot of Texas home videos and they have one thing in common - Popcorn walls. I'm a lifetime east coaster and our drywall/walls are smooth. Wallpaper is an option. Older homes may have popcorn ceilings, but hasn't been done for a very long time. I've never in-person seen textured walls. It looks dated, so it's just bizarre to me to see these luxury homes with textured walls.
Hey there! Thanks for the comment! Here we call it “knock down” texture. It’s more of an orange peel and is pretty common. The higher priced homes don’t often do that, stay tuned to the video I’m posting this Tuesday. It’s a $3.3M home and the walls are what we call “slick walls” being very smooth.
