Rockets fan here. For those of you haven’t watched the recent game we beat you guys, I strongly recommend you to watch it again. We beat you fair and square. We were the better team in that game, plain and simple. Hearing you all giving all these justifications why you lost and why you can easily beat us in this Cup game is LAUGHABLE. We beat you recently, and we will do it again, in Rockets style. We got THE BEST defenders in the league, Amen and Eason will lock SGA and JDub down.

Should be a lot of defense. Probably the best 2 defenses in the league.

People are willing to give Jimmy Butler a deal, but no one wants to give a max contract to Jimmy. I imagine 25-30 million per year might be his market like a James harden level contract. not 50 million per year. Jimmy coasts during the regular season so even that contract would be comitting a lot. I don't think the bradley beal contract even if he waives the no trade contract is tradeable he's too injury prone its a three year 150 million dollar remaining. Any team for Jimmy will have to sacrifice a lot of depth due to the size of Jimmy's current contract, most western conference contending teams can go 9-10 deep in rotation. He stays and finishes the season with miami, opts out in the summer.

It's a self fulfilling prophecy. The NBA doesn't market OKC, so OKC doesn't pull numbers they want, so they treat them worse, which then leads to people not knowing much about OKC. If they actually marketed the team and players like they did back in the KD Russ days, OKC would be popular. They are milking these old names like LeBron, Steph, etc. at the expense of the actual future of the league. Then when they actually DO invest in other names and teams, it's awful role models and overall dumb people like Ant and Ja. Catering to the highlight watchers.

It feels like their role players playing better is due to how the thunder scheme the defense. we double and really focus on luka and kyrie and that leaves others open by design that the thunder would rather take the shot.

If you win the final of the cup, the win should count on your record (the loss shouldn't count for the loser though), this gives more incentive to win it that isn't an auto-playoff quali or something like that, but that extra win can make a big difference for seeding at the end of the year or break a tie.

It was just so much fun watching the Thunder go be themselves and play their game. For as great as Shai was, Dub shot pretty poorly to kind of balance how they usually would perform. But everyone has bought in to what the team needs from them

Dallas is so lame. Sga doesnt have to cry about fouls because he gets fouled as soon as he steps on the court. Hes really a hit maker like Drake. SGA basically is Drake. Hes like SGA Drizzy. The mavs also dont have cool nicknames like "j will" and "j dub" like ... How creative! Then theres the crowd in OKC. Its like the Arsenio Hall show in 1989! So much energy and dog barks. I want OKC to crush the Mavericks so badly. Pretty much the only team that I feel OKC should have a personal vendetta to destroy.

I think this game is bigger for okc than it is Dallas. TBH a loss here could really hurt them in terms of their confidence. I think okc will play the best game of their season Tuesday.
