    J. Lawrence Cook is one of THE BEST piano roll players. Right up there with Pete Wendling. Always a treat!

    Yes keep the airmotor cover off! It makes the piano look so much cooler! I see that this piano doesn't have an automatic tracking device. It has a knurl nob instead. If the roll for some reason gets misaligned, just turn that one way or the other and it should twitch the tracker bar and get it to play again. Also before you put the roll in the spool box, turn the roll on it's side and give some solid knocks to the slotted end. This will throw all of the music to one side and it shouldn't drift around as much.

      I didnt know it was called a knurl nob but that nob is mostly for the transposing mechanism but that is also a good idea

      @@dangerousnoodle3730 I actually now know that piano DOES have an auto tracker, your right that the knurl nob is for transposing.
