I’ve been given an offer for a LD nursing as I wasn’t successful with child nursing. I’m really interested in it and wish to peruse it, I was wondering if you know what the placements are like? Are they based in the community or hospitals or both? I have emailed uni but no response yet. Thank you for the video btw! So helpful 😀🙌🏼
hii!! congratulations! i’m not actually sure what the placements are like as i’m still in my foundation year and haven’t completed any placement and start placement my first year of the undergraduate in September! sorry i couldn’t be more help!! x
So I assume you’re talking about child nursing. You should talk about an experience you had at the school and then embed the skill that you learnt or used in that experience. Try to use a negative experience, then turn into a learning opportunity (if that makes sense) as it will make it easier to spot the skills that are the most useful. Idk this is roughly what my teacher said about writing the personal statement / answering the questions.
first of all good luck!! and umm i would say like you could say about what they do so for example like recording records, working in teams, care of patients and maybe include the 6cs so say their role is to be compassionate towards patients too, i always struggled with this question but hope this helps in some way x

I have an interview for the 9th March for a foundation year and I am so not prepared going to re watch this video and make some notes. It’s gave me some ideas and I feel I defo need to write notes. Is there anything else you would recommend doing before hand?
good luck!! honestly just make notes and relax is my best advice!
@@megrose i am the worse at interviews applied for around 20 jobs in the last year and got no where. New chapter x
honestly you’ll be fine! i hate interviews too and feel like i’m bad but the interviewers make you feel relaxed so you’ll be ok! let me know how it goes x
When did you reply what month?
wow a great help thank you
I’ve been given an offer for a LD nursing as I wasn’t successful with child nursing. I’m really interested in it and wish to peruse it, I was wondering if you know what the placements are like? Are they based in the community or hospitals or both? I have emailed uni but no response yet. Thank you for the video btw! So helpful 😀🙌🏼
hii!! congratulations! i’m not actually sure what the placements are like as i’m still in my foundation year and haven’t completed any placement and start placement my first year of the undergraduate in September! sorry i couldn’t be more help!! x
@@megrose aw no worries thank you so much for the fast reply!! X
how did you relate working in a primary school to nursing what skills did u talk about?
So I assume you’re talking about child nursing. You should talk about an experience you had at the school and then embed the skill that you learnt or used in that experience. Try to use a negative experience, then turn into a learning opportunity (if that makes sense) as it will make it easier to spot the skills that are the most useful.
Idk this is roughly what my teacher said about writing the personal statement / answering the questions.
Hey did you do mmi interviews??
I have my interview tomorrow,
Online it says understand key roles of nursing...
I’m overthinking it to the max, what would you say?
first of all good luck!! and umm i would say like you could say about what they do so for example like recording records, working in teams, care of patients and maybe include the 6cs so say their role is to be compassionate towards patients too, i always struggled with this question but hope this helps in some way x
hey what year you in as I wanting to do nursing next year at uni but don't know which course to do
