I had only watched a few episodes and never got into it initially. Then got Covid in January and while quarantine, started watching and got hooked. Watched all the episodes by April. Loved it!

I heard him on Tom's podcast talking about why he never dated Kristin because he thought he was too old, clumsy for her and tom replied that he thought the same. However, I never heard Tom say he had a crush on Kristin or any other but he's always been married, i don't think he'll say that in public even if it's true

Just finished watching smallville it took me almost a whole year to finish bc I’ve been busy with work and other things and man that show is amazing for sure watching again

Just watched Burden of truth. Never heard of Kristen Kreug. Now I am her newest fan. I will start watching Smallville and see where that goes. Also, I saw a KK movie last night Street Fighter which i enjoyed. Completed S 1 of Smallville and being a superman fan when i was a kid i am so enjoying it. KK is such a great actress 20 years ago.

Definitely one of the most imaginative, delightful series! It sucked you in! Loved the relationship aspect and the extraordinarily moral characteristics of Clark. The best to all of these actors!
One thing I will give Tom, Michael, and Kristin credit for, is being able to seem in it (for the most part) during each convention. I mean the show's been done for a decade, they have to deal with the same questions and sentiments every time, etc..After awhile it must feel like Groundhog Day. LOL As fans we remember so many details from Smallville like it was yesterday. But when you're an actor and making it, you want to detach yourself. Smallville was Welling's whole life for 10 years to the point where he was miserable. So it's actually cool he's willing to still do these.
It's actually shocking the turn around with Tom the last few years. He spent years, even while on the show, actively running away from the legacy of Smallville. Now he's at most Con's, doing specialty nights at some, did the Crisis cameo, and him and Rosenbaum are starting a podcast on every single episode of the show. He's finally comfortable being Superman

It's not like the majority are comic con. 🤣 They're doing it primarily for the fans and to keep Smallville as relevant as they can. That's what they're mainly known for so it helps with relevancy. BTW - Imagine going to a social function and having the same conversation over and over and over for 10 years. After awhile it's Groundhog Day syndrome.
It's finally been long enough for it to be nostalgic for all them. I've seen Kristen in several shows since Smallville and the lead in many. I know Tom tried and never took off with movies and maybe Rosey tried as well, don't remember much anything. In any case, it's a great & easy way for them to build or at least keep their status with minimum effort and I'm okay with that. I'm gonna listen to every Talk Ville podcast.

Is it just me though, or is it really unfair of the host to take up half an hour of the panel with his own comments and questions when there were clearly a lot of fans waiting to ask their own questions? It seemed like they were then having to rush a lot to get through as many fans as possible to be able to ask their questions. And it also meant that what the some of the fans wanted to ask was already talked about. Just an observation. Still a lot of fun to watch though, Tom, Michael and Kristin always make me smile.
Yeah indeed it's a little unfair but I also noticed most fans at conventions ask the same questions : "what was your favorite season or episode ?" "Funny pranks on set" blablabla and it get repetitive so I didn't mind the host aslking most of the questions

@Kevin Stone I highly doubt that's the reason the host controlled so much of the panel given that the rest of the cast have done loads of panels in the last few years where at least 30 minutes out of a 40-45 minute panel was given to the fans to ask their questions. There could have been plenty of times where someone bought it up, but as far as I remember no one has asked about Allison directly (perhaps only a few mentions of her character in relation to a story question). Plus, Michael has openly talked about the Allison topic a few times on his podcast. Tom even kinda joked about Allison back at the Vancouver convention a couple months back when saying who would/wouldn't return to lend their voice in the Smallville animated series. Yeah, it was an awkward joke, it's still a touchy subject but honestly, I think most fans know not to ask about her directly. And I think the cast would know how to handle it if someone did happen to ask about her.
Tom didn't say that season 10 was the best. He said it was his favorite because it was the last one. His response wasn't about S10 being the best in term of content, it was about him appreciating it because the show was ending. Even tho I love S10 this wasn't the best season simply for the fact that Lex wasn't in it (except for the finale). One of the main reasons Smallville was great is because of the juxtaposition between Clark's journey and Lex's journey and their complicated relationship. This aspect of the show was lacking after S7, this is why S10 could never be the best season.
There is a tension between Tom and Kristin because Tom lied a lot especially when he was producer and how The storyline turned against her (bring Lois in when she was never planned that for few episodes) It s normal that Kristin has resentment, she hurt a lot she paid the hard price ! It's not the story that Al Gough and Miles wanted to tell
no, this is not the story that had to be told from the beginning otherwise she would have gone long before. she felt the turn the story was taking, I think when CW came along. She told this in an interview (Kristin kreuk, the story does not fall on a woman who shapes the life of a mtan), we feel that it affected her a lot. Why she left and never come back (tom asked that she came back, she said no).
@@iloveu172 Kreuk did not want her character to defined by Clark’s story, but by Lana’s own choices. Kreuk did not come back for the finale because she thought her story was done. But as far as a rift between her and Tom she has not said in public that Her and Tom are having issues.

I love this panel. I'm so glad they called out Clark as being a liar. He lied to both of their characters so much especially Lana. I loved Clark, but if I was Lana, I would have left him after season 3 and never looked back.
@8:00 You can tell that Tom does not like the fact that Lana got married to Lex. He always mocks that storyline or says something like, it just didn't make sense. Lex was basically a groomer, he bought her the Talon, then sent that woman to seduce Clark which led to the breakup and then he swooped in and pretended to be there for her. She was 19!!! Once they paired Lex and Lana, the ratings started to drop and kept getting worse.
All of them have aged really well. If Tom lost some weight and Michael shaved his head, they could continue right where they left off. Kristin hasn’t changed at all. I mean they’re all still young, Rosenbaum is 50 but still looks young.
Gene was amazing. But you brought more into the character of Lex. I hated Lex,but that made him so great. Clark was outstanding,but You’ve got to have an equal. To balance out the bad. What a great show it was.

I'm glad that Kristin played Lana because in Smallville the writers put way more time and efforts into Clark and Lana's love story than Lois & Clark's. Even though Clana wasn't endgame they had the main love story of the series.

Lois didn't belong in Smallville. and Smallville was never created to be Metropolis. in short, they did it anyway but for me, I would have seen Kristin evolve towards this role with a pen name Lois, a softer and more respectful version than that of Erica and with an alter ego or not of Superwoman, so we could have continued to benefit from Kristom's unique chemistry. 10,000 scenarios were possible, they should never have broken the Kristom/Clana continuity. Kristin has this ability to morph into another character...

They didn't even need to take the show to Metropolis cause this story had been told countless of times before and is still being told today. But since they did, I think Lois should have only been introduced when Clark started working at the daily planet. But for me what's made Smallville special and set apart from the rest of the Superman adaptations was the early seasons.

Lana sacrificed her love many times for him, to fulfill his destiny instead of caring for her, the ultimate sacrifice was their devastating breakup. Lana's journey has always been a sacrifice, it is pure altruism in a pure heart, the true love. the opposite of selfishness. The truth is, Lana has become more famous, equal, and more legitimate than Lois. Lana is no longer the pale copy of Lois, in Smallville Lana is The One. So she became a problem for their comic book bullshit, so they brought her out in the most gruesome way. she remained the heart of clark and smallville indelibly in the hearts of millions of fans Everyone recognizes that the heart of Smallville will always be: Lana and Clark, rooted in its deep foundations and memory. it's hard when you have stubborn producers who don't listen to anyone because that's what happened in smallville they didn't listen to Gough and Miles (creators and writers s1 to s7 they wanted to tell a different story canon) so they left the show and Smallville died at the end of season 7

Lois has been exposed almost as much since season 4 (in addition she has often lived with the kents) but she has never had the slightest doubt (she considered this simple farmer as nothing at all) while Lana has always had this flair even if it's just a simple farm boy !

It's finally been long enough for it to be nostalgic for all them.
I've seen Kristen in several shows since Smallville and the lead in many. I know Tom tried and never took off with movies and maybe Rosey tried as well, don't remember much anything.
In any case, it's a great & easy way for them to build or at least keep their status with minimum effort and I'm okay with that. I'm gonna listen to every Talk Ville podcast.

Is it just me though, or is it really unfair of the host to take up half an hour of the panel with his own comments and questions when there were clearly a lot of fans waiting to ask their own questions? It seemed like they were then having to rush a lot to get through as many fans as possible to be able to ask their questions. And it also meant that what the some of the fans wanted to ask was already talked about. Just an observation. Still a lot of fun to watch though, Tom, Michael and Kristin always make me smile.
Yeah indeed it's a little unfair but I also noticed most fans at conventions ask the same questions : "what was your favorite season or episode ?" "Funny pranks on set" blablabla and it get repetitive so I didn't mind the host aslking most of the questions

@Kevin Stone I highly doubt that's the reason the host controlled so much of the panel given that the rest of the cast have done loads of panels in the last few years where at least 30 minutes out of a 40-45 minute panel was given to the fans to ask their questions. There could have been plenty of times where someone bought it up, but as far as I remember no one has asked about Allison directly (perhaps only a few mentions of her character in relation to a story question). Plus, Michael has openly talked about the Allison topic a few times on his podcast. Tom even kinda joked about Allison back at the Vancouver convention a couple months back when saying who would/wouldn't return to lend their voice in the Smallville animated series. Yeah, it was an awkward joke, it's still a touchy subject but honestly, I think most fans know not to ask about her directly. And I think the cast would know how to handle it if someone did happen to ask about her.

Tom didn't say that season 10 was the best. He said it was his favorite because it was the last one. His response wasn't about S10 being the best in term of content, it was about him appreciating it because the show was ending. Even tho I love S10 this wasn't the best season simply for the fact that Lex wasn't in it (except for the finale). One of the main reasons Smallville was great is because of the juxtaposition between Clark's journey and Lex's journey and their complicated relationship. This aspect of the show was lacking after S7, this is why S10 could never be the best season.

There is a tension between Tom and Kristin because Tom lied a lot especially when he was producer and how The storyline turned against her (bring Lois in when she was never planned that for few episodes) It s normal that Kristin has resentment, she hurt a lot she paid the hard price !

no, this is not the story that had to be told from the beginning otherwise she would have gone long before. she felt the turn the story was taking, I think when CW came along. She told this in an interview (Kristin kreuk, the story does not fall on a woman who shapes the life of a mtan), we feel that it affected her a lot. Why she left and never come back (tom asked that she came back, she said no).
@@iloveu172 Kreuk did not want her character to defined by Clark’s story, but by Lana’s own choices. Kreuk did not come back for the finale because she thought her story was done. But as far as a rift between her and Tom she has not said in public that Her and Tom are having issues.

@8:00 You can tell that Tom does not like the fact that Lana got married to Lex. He always mocks that storyline or says something like, it just didn't make sense. Lex was basically a groomer, he bought her the Talon, then sent that woman to seduce Clark which led to the breakup and then he swooped in and pretended to be there for her. She was 19!!!
Once they paired Lex and Lana, the ratings started to drop and kept getting worse.

I'm glad that Kristin played Lana because in Smallville the writers put way more time and efforts into Clark and Lana's love story than Lois & Clark's. Even though Clana wasn't endgame they had the main love story of the series.

and Smallville was never created to be Metropolis. in short, they did it anyway but for me, I would have seen Kristin evolve towards this role with a pen name Lois, a softer and more respectful version than that of Erica and with an alter ego or not of Superwoman, so we could have continued to benefit from Kristom's unique chemistry. 10,000 scenarios were possible, they should never have broken the Kristom/Clana continuity.

I agree that Lois didn't belong in Smallville because the series was about Clark Kent's early days before he became Superman. Honestly Smallville ended at the end of season 7 then S8-10 it became Metropolis. They didn't even need to take the show to Metropolis cause this story had been told countless of times before and is still being told today. But since they did, I think Lois should have only been introduced when Clark started working at the daily planet. But for me what's made Smallville special and set apart from the rest of the Superman adaptations was the early seasons.

The fan voice thing is true, the bad thing is when the Network and producers think the voice they are hearing comes from the majority and it can fuck up storylines. Like Chloe, they legit thought she was this huge fan favorite when in reality yes, she had fans but no where near characters like Clark or Lois and look at her legacy today.

it's hard when you have stubborn producers who don't listen to anyone because that's what happened in smallville they didn't listen to Gough and Miles (creators and writers s1 to s7 they wanted to tell a different story canon) so they left the show and Smallville died at the end of season 7
