Beautiful studio, very sereen. Indeed what Jelena is saying , take care of your hands first as the ashtanga sequence is Asana and than Pranayama . Eight limbs. This is Pamela and need to say, saw you a couple of time on FB but more and more you are making me curious about your instructions and the depth of your instructions are attracting my attention. Greetings from Curaçao.
Dear David and Jelena, this video came in a perfect time for me! I started practicing Ashtanga a few years back but really dedicated myself to the practice in November last year. Thank you for explaining everything in such detail, it really helps me deepen the understanding of the practice. I'm not talking just about this video but everything you post! I love your style of teaching. Unfortunately, Toronto is too far from me, but I hope our paths will cross eventually. Greetings from Croatia!
It makes us happy that our videos have been useful! We will be in Croatia this December. We'll post details in a few weeks on our socials. Hopefully we can meet in person then.

Hi Jelena and David , I' m following all your Ashtanga video of the different Asana. The are very inspiring and my daily practise friends . You can teach so mindfully in a joyful atmosphere I really appreciate. Maybe we'll meet one day. Take care
Greetings from the wet coast of beautiful British Columbia. Always love your videos, and learn so much. If I ever make it to Toronto, I will come and visit you. Congrats on the new studio.
Congrats on the new studio! It looks lovely! This sequence has always been one of my favorites, and I've always loved these kinds of forward folds in any type of yoga. The count isn't my main problem here, but I keep mixing up A and D... For some reason it just won't stick! *sigh* I suppose it will come in time Thank you 🙏❤
Thank you from Australia, excellently clear as always. I'm ready for more on Urdhva Dhanurasna please, ie. the next instalment past your version for beginners. How do I get my weight more over my hands, hips higher, legs straighter, etc. Bring on the front opening!!! : ) 🙏
can you please make a video on eka pada sirsasana? I started doing ashtanga yoga 3 yrs ago (I am 74 years old) and I can do the asana with my right leg but not with my left . Thanks in advance 🇸🇪
Good for you for getting your leg behind your hear at 74! We're impressed! And thank you for the suggestion. We'll come up with a tutorial for you soon.
I love these longer videos with actual talking!! They motivate me much better than ”please do this.”

@@DavidandJelenaYoga you are such a cute and nice couple. Keep up your good work🙏😃
Hand on the waist always confuse me . Sometimes I miss one , sometimes i include one when it’s not necessary.
Just a matter of memorizing the sequence. Once you do then it is always the same.
