I thought it was just a scruffy looking racoon. It had a ringed tail and a racoon is about the only animal native to that area with a ringed tail.

When I was a kid, all we had were open station tractors, Jr is lucky.
When it comes to yields, I know there's a math formula one can do to set the calibration but, maybe I'm wrong but, once you got it set you're good to go. That was a raccoon Andy.
Well, it's good to see that some people understand hand language and know to slow down and move over. It's good to know that Jr wasn't hurt in that accident. If more kids worked and did like what yours do, there would be a lot less "farm accidents" that involve the younger generation(s). Great video as always, cheers :)

I started running a 65 4020 in 1966. I was 12 yrs old. Dad had a 45 and 2 95s combines. The second 95 had a straw chopper. The drive chain broke. It filled the back of that 95 up with soy bean stalks. Have the armadillos go to your area yet?

Andy, we would troubleshoot broken wires in looms like that by grabbing them with both hands and pull. If it's broken, the insulation will pull apart, then you know for sure. Don't pull hard enough to break an unbroken wire though. Using a meter takes too long, isn't always conclusive, and wastes time. Good luck.🚜

That definitely was a raccoon running. That was a terrible wreck, and I can see where that could happen anywhere in America. Even the people here in Missouri can't seem to stay in their own lane. Last year as we were traveling on highway 32 a John Deere tractor mowing along the road came to a curve and a semi hauling boats decided to move over too far and almost hit us head on, if it weren't for the fact my wife judged the situation correctly.

Where I worked as a after school boy was the same with me running the cabless tractor's as they where front end loaders too. 5000 and 7000 fords handling round bales and spud box's so I always got the near new 6610 with cab for feeding out before school and the tw 25 for field work after school. That only lasted 2yrs as I ended up taller then the boss by time I was 12 😂 could do most of the tractor work by then except for the drilling and mouldboard ploughing.

I think you should look into a wireless microphone for your camera. Clip it on your shirt and then you can put the camera down, use two hands for driving and we’d still hear you. Probably wouldn’t work if you were wrenching something but might be perfect anytime you are in a combine or tractor. Just a thought.

Doesn't matter what the critters name was, but it was hauling A. Racoon, Fisher, Otter, or something else. It found hi gear! As to yield monitor, you calibrate it at start of the crop season and don't mess with it. Whether raw numbers are correct is irrelevant, the numbers you get will be consistent. And you better evaluate the wheat varieties asap, because it won't be long before you have to order seed. Like you don't know that already...😂😂😂
