I got my nose pierced a couple weeks ago and felt myself beginning to faint shortly after the procedure, so I solved this problem by dancing for about five minutes straight to keep enough adrenaline in my body to force it awake. It worked perfectly.
I'm trying to imagine this and it would be a very hilarious thing to witness.

Worked as a tattoo apprentice for a while and we had a few piercers in the shop. I can confirm that fainting is definitely common. We had one lady wait to faint until she got tot he front desk to pay. Fell flat on her back and convulsed a little, then got up like nothing happened. Super weird.
Definitely a good idea to wait to have that in the shop rather than behind the wheel. I wonder why that happened tho?
You can usually feel a faint coming before it happens. I remember last time it happened to me was when I got blood drawn. I started to walk out and had that light headed, weak feeling so I sat on the closest chair and fainted.
Probably a self defence mechanism, just like how people faint if they see blood.
That is why I hate it when people mock people that say: I think I am going to faint."
And then just stand back and refuse to help, until the person is on the floor and then they say: Oh I thought they were joking!"
@@teddi_tqt well this mechanism doesn't do a great job of defending then... lol.
That girl’s spot on impression of Alexa was bananas. Did not even kind of see that coming.

The girl that fainted was obviously from overheating - which is what happens when you're just too hot. 😂
@@jonslg240 Alexa isn't a fainter.
2:00 - It's not messed up that the robot can unplug itself. However, it would be messed up if it could plug itself back in.
True 😂
Now that's an AI nightmare I didn't need.
humans: "is there a god?"
robot plugging itself back in: "there is now"
I mean, it would be the equivalent of deliberately putting itself in a coma. If a human were to do so to themselves I would say that would be at least slightly messed up.
Metaphor for what western society is doing to itself.
1:22 lol I did that one Halloween with the exact same costume. Scared so many kids.
2:16 jenga guy is a king!
Kudos to the car driver for their quick reaction time and presence of mind.
Seriously, they were paying attention! Most drivers around here would've plowed right into it, and the person behind them would've followed - probably at least three cars in before anyone actually realized what was happening.

I love how the guy in the Halloween costume was able to scare the mom more than the kids.
Yes, by first waiting for her children to cross into the danger zone before making his move. 💀
pretty sure its automated but i could be wrong ig
Happens a lot actually.
i'm glad they didn't scare the kids that much, but gave the mom a real big scare
It felt like they waited for the kids to focus on the candy so they could scare the mom filming. A genius plan
1:27 I actually find it more interesting as to how Australians don't fall off of Earth. Must be a workout to hold on every moment of the day to not fall off
It’s actually because their balls are so massive they pull the earth towards them.
Nah the drop bears do that for us
we hold onto the kangaroos
We hold on to the spiders legs to avoid falling off
As someone who’s fainted several times growing up, I can attest that it does just feel like you fell asleep for a moment.
I was always confused why people are in the middle of freaking out when I wake up. The first time it happened, I actually tried to go back to sleep in an attempt to “nope” out of the situation. 😂
Well it depends. I fainted once while standing and it definitely didn't feel like just falling asleep. I came out off a hot bathtub, walking a few meters and then broke down after feeling dizzy.
I suffer from anxiety... And when an attack is coming, I just tell my wife "be ready, I might just faint in a couple of seconds, don't freak out" 😅 it is horrible but at least I have someone to be there with me.
I’ve been experiencing fainting several times over the past few years, notably while I was still in high school in my last or second to last class, and driving to work, though that second one might be heat stroke, which I have taken steps to avoid since the possibility was suggested.
Since my fainting experiences mostly because I'm sick, all of it doesn't feel "like going to sleep" it's like you're getting drained down and drown
I actually felt worse than that when i fainted, like coming out of something deeper like anesthesia. But i have only ever fainted 2 times, could of been a quite serious one not sure
The moon being flipped makes so much sense, but at the same time feels so wrong.
What do people see at the equator? 🤔

As a person with the disorder called Vasovagal Syncope, that is exactly what happens to me with each episode. They're not as frequent as they were when I was younger anymore, so that's good! The fainting is caused by the anxiety levels of the person, as soon as you try to calm down, the blood pressure suddenly drops and it lacks circulation to the brain for a moment. I don't exactly remember when I faint but I feel myself waking up from a short nap afterwards. My mom described my episodes to me, my eyes roll back and I suddenly lose control of my body as I try to fight it off.
In short, it's not a MAJOR condition, just a sudden drop in adrenaline levels. It's completely harmless when sat down, otherwise you can get a concussion from a fall when these happen. (This also happened to me when I got my ears pierced!)
"Girls grab your CANDY!"
This mother just gave her daughters years of mental trauma in less then 3 seconds 😂
That was definitely the best 🤣🤣🤣

Seeing that woman's expression as she slipped into the mud made my day
At least she was committed
I could really use an explanation on that one - what the heck is going on. Are those street clothes?
She looked so unconvinced of the whole situation. XD
@@gmac123 No, it's like an amusement park in Mexico that you can go to, that area that the woman is in has a lazy river with minerals and salts in it to "relax" your body, the mud does something similar and you wash it off at the end with a shower.
the water is always cold in the end
I work in a blood donation center and fainting after a needle stick is more common than you think. Best way to recover is lay down with your feet elevated. Also, crossing your legs and tensing your thigh and abdominal muscles helps redistribute blood back to the brain.

La Brea tv show irl
if you look closely you can see that the road was sunk in there.
I wouldn’t say it was out of nowhere. There was a huge visible settlement in the road. The asphalt just hadn’t been subjected to a heavy enough load to cause complete failure until the truck bounces over the settlement like it had hit a speed bump. The truck driver is very lucky that it didn’t collapse immediately.
Was this recent, haven't yet seen anything about that in the news, and it looks to be in the US. Once in while I do see clips on here first before they pop up in the news.
I like how the mother got scared instead of the children, despite her being the one to warn them to be careful lol
I thought she was making the kids go first on purpose so they could get scared lol. I was a bit surprised she didn't see it coming. That trick seemed pretty obvious to me. (Maybe since I've seen it used so many times, but it also was clearly too human in shape to just be a prop).
@@faolan2174yeah it was obvious to me and we dont even have Halloween in our country
I thought it was just her yelling to scare her children even more than they already were.
Being that close to the person as a child, and hyper focused on the bowl of candy, they probably didn't realize he's actually moving.

I imagine how many people have stood up or been walking around after getting such a piercing only to suddenly black out, fall over, and get concussed.
A new device has been detected. Do you wish to reboot the system now?
It's like he works at a piercing shop and knows what to do
In regard to the piercing video: I've heard people having the same thing occur when people get tattoos, blood draws, and when getting stabbed. After a bit of googling, it looks like it's called the vasovagal syncope reaction/reflex, and it's caused by your body over-reacting to the pain and/or imagery, dropping your heart rate. Always thought it was a response kind of hard-coded into our brains to avoid bleeding out from being stabbed, or to prevent blood-sucking parasites. Idk just thought it was cool.
Wow! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I didn't remember how this was called.
I thought that was like a first sign of having a stroke
@@kyleethan7664 I think it can be, but it's also a symptom of tons of other things, from anxiety to an iron deficiency.
I had this happen when I pinched my finger very hard it happens when a a lot of pressure is applied to a single place on the body and your feeling a bit anxious beforehand. It does not occur just imagining things it’s a physiological response
"Girls...grab YOUR CANDY!!!!!!!!!" haahhahaha
Body Piercer for over 12yrs here...
Yes, this does happen, but not as much as the uploader states.
Generally, in my personal experience, it happens to my younger clients
whom are really nervous and don't eat anything beforehand,
(which they usually lie about) and we find out afterward.
I personally thoroughly screen every client but there's only so much you can do.
The trickier/scarier passout piercing jobs are when you are doing a tongue-piercing
and mid-piercing the client starts to drop like a sack of potatoes and is trying to swallow
while you have there tongue clamped and the needle is still in...
Most bring a friend with them and when this happens, you need to act fast and ask for assistance by getting them to hold them up so you can finish the job and then attend to them medically.
After they come to, they say it felt like they were "dreaming" and are pretty out of sorts.
Once they rest and we give them juice, etc to raise their blood sugar levels; they're fine.
It can be pretty scary for the parent or friend watching as they think something went wrong,
but, yes, it does happen from time to time and you need to make sure they're calm so the situation doesn't escalate.
This post wasn't to scare anyone from getting pierced (hopefully)
just wanted to give everyone some further depth and what to expect if this does occur.
Stay beautiful everyone...
Peace.

I relate to the first girl, back when I was in elementary school I had a common occurrence, to which I had a nose bleed almost every week I was there. My mom and teachers were worried that it was a medical issue, so we went to the doctors and they had found that I had a big blood vessel that looked kinda like a tree in my right nostril. So they went in and were able to cauterize it. At the same time I was sitting in the chair after they numbed my nose and made the procedure, I told my mom I wasn’t feeling right, so the doctor came in and checked on me. Just then I felt dizzy and the doctor held my head up by my cheeks and asked if i was okay, to which I replied “yeah I’m okay” even though I was slowly fading out of consciousness. Next thing I knew I woke up with smelling salts slumped over in the chair. I don’t know why I fainted, I wasn’t afraid of it or anything and it didn’t hurt, but my mom would laugh about it every time she remembered that story😂
