I'm buying hds-7 live, mainly because the screen resolution is far better than what garmin has. I'll wait for livesight 2nd generation. Not spending high $$ on current livesight.

Great tech and an absolute game changer....but.....I'll wait for version 2 and hope it'll provide returns as good as the other brand's front/down facing live SONAR....

Where's the video Lowrance has been promising for about a year where you can see the fish's tail?
I think everyone that keeps up with electronics knows Garmin's LiveScope is 100 times better than this technology which is equal to Garmin's 3 year old Panoptix.

I'm sorry but that is just terrible. A new product from any manufacturer shouldn't start out several steps behind the competition and that is just what Lowrance did here. Disappointed to say the least.

Gotta say that I'm not at all impressed. When compared to other's live imaging this falls way short. Keep improving though. Competition is a good thing.

First, this is Video Game fishing. What about the skill, the element of surprise, the enjoyment of knowing you were able to put a plan together to catch fish and you actually did. Second, your technology is way behind your competitions but for me it doesn't matter because I won't use it. I believe this technology shouldn't be allowed in tournaments.

You still have to make the cast and present it properly, set the hook and everything. Doesnt take all the skill out whatsoever
