Thank gawd,! Glad someone knows the basics. No matter how much ca$h you spend or how many after market up grades go on a bike the parts still have to be put on correctly....thanks man
Its a wise idea to put the master link clip on the other direction . You want the closed end leading the direction of rotation . I have seen lost chains when the open end leads. Very rare but does happen guys .
@@markusmontana8232 Yes, in the video he installs it like a "D" on the BOTTOM RUN of the chain. Instead, it should be installed like a "C" on the BOTTOM RUN, however once the chain rotates with the motorcycle traveling FORWARD and the link is on the TOP run of chain it would look like a "D". Bottom run "C", Top run "D"
I love using Loctite 592 Thread Sealant for all my NPT fittings. Not only does it look cleaner than using teflon tape is meant for gas and oil fittings and rated for high temps. Try it next time it works awesome.
Our raw evolution 86-03 Sportster hardtail is $399, the deluxe kit which comes with extra mounting tabs welded on, the oil tank, fender and sissy bar included starts at $1299, with seat options of the solo seat (seen in the video) a cobra seat or a King and Queen seat for an additional $250-$400
Love the series when you assemble chopps!!!
Great video! Chain link is backwards, closed end in direction of chain travel.

You mean it should sit as a “C” and not as a “D” ? Thanks
