I love the idea of Super Mario Bros. Z. And I get why it's loved. But what made me rage quit is how Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream and Cheese dies. WHY ALVIN!?! WHY!?! WHY CAN'T THEY GET KIDNAPPED WHILE STILL KEEPING THE PLOT!?! THAT PART WAS ABYSMAL WITH SOME PEOPLE LIKING IT SOMEHOW!?! Personally I loathe that part. If the reboot didn't come out yet I hope they fix that and at least get them kidnapped while still keeping the plot!
honestly, metallix would show no mercy to anyone. with sonic's friends being dead, it gives off the more darker tone and vibe the series had in the original, which would continue in the reboot. it's honestly a nice change of pace compared to other series

These are way better sprites, but timing lacked quite a bit here. I liked the original opening better
My only point of criticism is Luigi launching himself into Goomboss. It’s more of a Hots sort of thing rather than SMBZ.
