As someone who has been trying to replicate this version, it's s shame TH-cam doesn't want this vid to blow up while other weak guitarist with just good face get millions of views. This is one of the hardest to learn great job
Mr. Jimmy who has based his live becoming page can do it anything page did and he looks like him. Not to take anything away from this gentleman who also killed it
Been playing for 40 years, and I have never seen anyone brave enough to attempt this in all those years!!!! You must be one of the few guitarists in the world who can play this - I don't even think Jimmy Page himself can even play it anymore!!! In my opinion the guitar work on this live version of Dazed And Confused is one of Rock music's finest moments - I first heard it in 1978 and instantly became a Led Zeppelin fan having previously avoided them in favour of Pink Floyd.
Agreed. I have never seen anyone try to do these parts from TSRTS. And yes, Page could probably not do this today. In fact he probably could not do it in 1973, since his solos were different every night!
Well I must say as a senior Led Head for 50 plus years that was some fine playing hats of to you. If you only lived in San Francisco be sure to wear some flowers in your hair........ very nice thanks!
Totally got it! I saw Page with the Firm and he started going into this during the instrumental section then the bow, blew me away. In fact I'm still digesting it.
Very nice. Thank you. It takes an extraordinary amount of skill and patience to learn something like this. Whenever I figure out some live Page stuff I'm struck by the fact that, whatever it took me to get to that level, it's a whole other thing to have come up with it in the first place, often on the fly. Page was really something in his prime.
I believe that page is the most difficult guitarist to try to duplicate and you nailed it.. You must put in some serious time learning all these songs note for note
Update paid $250 for someone to transcribe me the solo and San Francisco and let me tell you the part from 0:50 to 1:14 is insane how fast he is hitting those notes and it’s a lot of memorization and trying to not get confused and play a different part because it’s a lot of the same notes (if that makes sense) . Hats off to you for learning all of that by ear and actually playing it in tempo.

nice playing my dude, you really nailed the whole song, i did a humble cover of going to san francisco that you might enjoy ❤❤
I don't think anyone has played the solo THIS good on the internet.
Wow, thank you very much. Stay tuned for the violin bow solo and main solo. I’m trying to split this song up into at least 3 separate videos.
@@XxSkydog71xX Oh yes, you just put out the violin solo too! God that is amazing!

Jimmy isn’t playing any where near this now. He is.about 25 percent ballpark . It’s sad. But his one of my all time favorite s.
Thetes a few on here do it
It's not that hard guys I can do it and I'm 20. Eruption live 1983? That's kind hard.just know your fretboard and it all makes sense
@@braydenkissell9247 Yeah, show us then.
You did it! Been close years ago…but not that close

This was insane man. Great effort transcribing this solo.
Much appreciated. It was certainly a challenge.

Don't mean exaggerating, i think Dazed and Confused MSG live is the best guitar performance of all time. You got it very close, great job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The tone is perfect. Videos like this are really helpful to learn!
Great playing and an even better tone, totally nailed it, mate.
Thank you very much

Fabulous - thank you for sharing your talent here.
Well done maestro!
Awesome! I keep telling myself one day I’ll learn this and No Quarter from TSRTM but I’m still no where close to it haha. Great job
very very accurate solo! You so good, mate!

Crazy work
Insane playing

Bloody hell was this Jimmy himself?
Very nice playnig and tone. It's pretty close. Great.
close ?? i thought it was spot on
@rudbel88 I totally agree with you.
close,,,,good job
Do the tutorial 👏🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻
Awesome
this is amazing man
Insane!
Do a tutorial sometime ❤

Wow man ! I saw your other LZ cover videos and it sounds amazing! what's pickups or capacitor on your LP? your tone is really close to jimmy!
Wow. Tabs? Congratulations! 👏👏
This is ridiculously good. I think other guitarists are easier to copy because their styles aren't as erratic (in a good way!) as Page's.
Wow
Cómo lo sacaste Bro??
WOA! incredible. what did u use as a backing track?
Great job! Great playing, great tone. Wah pedal?
Drop the mic brother. That is one the best parts from 73 Madison square garden. The whole song to me is the best dazed and confused live
Unreal - just like it - so jealous of your skill
Off topic but nice shirt.
Had to be few years
I am deeply impressed. Are those Bryan Williams pickups by any chance? The sound is very '73.
Thank you. These are wildwood 59 tribute buckers!
Very very great job!! How long did it take you to figure out this part of the solo and play it?
Thank you very much. I’ve been analyzing Page for nearly a decade but only got around to learning this solo around a few days ago.
Hello, can you tell me which microphone your guitar is equipped with and with what effect? Thanks in advance. Benoit
Yes i never see good like you do
Incroyable
Please do a lesson or play it slow whit a good camera view
can you make a video with tab?
Wheres part 4
you happen to have the tabs?
Any odds of you posting this as an isolated guitar track?
What pickups and what amp / pedals are you playing through?....seriously very impressive
Wildwood 59 Tribute Humbuckers and I was running into a GarageBand Page preset I made
@@XxSkydog71xXcan you share the preset by any chance?
did u learn by ear?
how long did it take you to master this solo?
Around 6 years
You got tabs or something? Lol
Paid like $50 for tabs on the solo and they were shit. Might take guitar lessons again just to learn to play that solo

@@Ls_corvette I respect the dedication. Any chance you can share the tabs? Or not, they are yours to keep to be fair
