Does your portfolio manager have adequate shorting expierence? - Shorting is a very different animal than a simple long only fund. - Are you going to raise 1m plus from friends and family to set up the various entities you need if you are taking money from different juristictions? There are so many steps involved in setting up a fund, yes you can sit in your bedroom and day trade, but the archeticture required is a lot more that a screen and phone. How did your write your offering documents? What Primes are you with and what is your cap intro relationship like? What if you're in the UK are you regulated with FCA? Investors won't give you money without it. Have you and existing track record of success? I think the No Experience is very misleading. You ABSOLUTLEY NEED someone with EXPERIENCE to even to ask strangers for money. Good Luck!
