Frankie Goes to Hollywood was in his second week at number one with Relax over 48 hours earlier on Tuesday lunchtime, the BBC refused to play it on the radio at the time after Mike Read got his knickers in a twist and the BBC banned it for 11 months until it was lifted at the end of 1984. The play out track was a non-number one track from Holiday by Madonna.
