It also runs very well. It is capped to 60fps tho so we can't really see how well it really runs but it does run at 1080p30 Ultra on the Radeon 680M and I'd say it runs very well.
I played the closed beta and I just don't get what you're getting at with need for speed. Unbound has great gameplay and the world is much more believable.

It's a fact that in the playlist they constantly keep saying: we have to take you to japan some day, so it's reasonable for him to assume that there might be a japan map or maybe the crew 4 will be in japan. Plus the japan playlist was also by far the most detailed. The thing that The Crew has done better than any other series is definitely just having a good freeroam experience. I still contend that The Crew 1 was better than The Crew 2 in this, but looking at Motorfest, I am just really excited to pick up the game so I can see the sights (and eventually make road trip talk videos).
Map is TINY, to call this game "The Crew" is a spit in the face to fans of both 1 and 2. The distance between the longest 2 corners of the TCM map is 29 km, while The Crew 1 is 148 km.

The ability to actually move the camera up and down is criminally underrated cause I don't think any other racing game does that. Not NFS not Forza not Crew 2 or Gran Turismo or Assetto Corsa and that honestly matters so much in a game that you know HAS VISUALS. You develop this beautiful world and not allow me to look up at it?

Finally someone appreciating this. Vegetation is a big point for me, if it doesn't move or react to player/cars in any game, it's a big let down for me. Just like crew 2 whose vegetation was a total let down.
@@premrajput5436 Another graphical thing people don't seem to talk about are the clouds haha. They honestly add so much with how they are actually "real" and not a skybox, they can be low and physically cover the mountain tops. Just another thing that adds to the overall visuals.
I’m happy to trade a big map for a more detailed and interesting one, better handling, graphics, larger range of steering motion on interior view, the addition of EVs, etc. Motorfest looks incredible! Definitely still hoping for another USA style map for The Crew 3 though.
Looking forward to this game. I'm getting major TDU nostalgia from the location names and everything. It'll be fun to see a map comparison between the original TDU/2 and this at some point as well

The "Motorfest thing" are spots where you start a playlist/race. Since we can't unlock the playlist that involves that part of the map yet, it looks like that. They should be all over, and where a race location should be.

Hounalulu is way more detailed than you can imagine, I spent maybe 10 minutes just exploring a tiny section of back alleys and I found I think 4 hidden multi level car parks that were all uniquely designed and even some apartment building parking, everything fully exploitable and enterable which is a massive step up from the crew 2 cities and really any other game not even just car games, on foot games too such as gta 5, it just seems so much more in depth
This is honestly the best open world racer in recent years, ivory tower put alot of that soul passion in to this game, and a step ubisoft should take for all there games
Im glad they fixed the steering animation and made it feel so much more alive. The Crew 2 killed the first person immersion because of how minimal it was
They’ve really done an amazing job with this game. Not only a big step up from The Crew 2, but it’s now giving the Forza Horizon series serious competition now. So many features make this game so interactive and immersive. The interior animations, the 900 degree steering, the car sounds which are so much better it’s insane, and the way the map works. Looking at how those boats on rabbit island were set up, and the marker, could imagine there's something set up for hovercraft or jet boats in the future.

I drove around the edge of this map for about 25 - 30 minutes. But in The Crew 2 30 minutes is only for a drive cut through New York to San Francisco. If a depth of the map, Motofest. But as a size, i prefer The Crew 2.
At 7:50 that rock archway isnt actully real. Im from Oahu. They did a decent job at capturing my island and showing off some real landmarks and places but they did add alot of things that arent anything like my island lol
Im just thinking to myself how it would be a cool feature to get button where you could manually extend and retract these dynamic spoilers like you could in real life with most of the supercars which has dynamic spoilers...for me it would add a bit more realism to this game

Did they do that thing where the stats of a street vehicle are almost unaffected by dirt/mud? Because I hated that a supercar went as fast as a raid truck in the 2nd game

Yea, it is so visually pleasing to look at. And i'd say the clouds are an area where the graphics are even actually better than Forza, the volumetric clouds add so much in my opinion.

Motorfest actually surprised me and had me playing for a good portion. I’m definitely going to play this more then the other 2 games

It's 540°, not 900°.
Fun fact, not all cars used 900° of rotation. So have your game use 900° on all cars is just as unrealistic as what Forza does.
