Honestly this mode is one of the only competitive online races I actually enjoy. Managed to finish 2nd using only bikes at one point, it was a ton of fun. I like using cars that people don't normally use too, but the amount of rammers is really frustrating
You know Theo there's a reason they have traction control and abs in all high speed cars. It allows you to have a more stable ride and maintain a higher speed.
I totally agree with you Theo! I too believe it to be one of the best PVP modes ever created! And I too usually prefer co-op.. but this grand race is so much fun, I can lose myself in it for hours! :P it's hugely addicting and on the plus side I'm getting quite good at it too XD

I consider myself a semi-competitive The Crew Player, havent missed any TC2 summit exclusive car on TC2 since september 2020, and got the Ford GT in Motorfest over top 1000, im not a fan of excesive grinding, but a big fan of working hard to get what you want, and thats why i like this, the golden bonus sets are optional, and then money & parts are not tha easy to get
I would love to see lika a 'Does expensive really mean better' video or something. So you would have like the cheapest tier 1 car vs the most expensieve one.

ive heard that your pro tuning stays with the car for the grand race so use that for a lil boost up in the rankings. there's another youtuber who does scientific tests for car tunes in search of the best cars. that youtuber has found out that the blue nos in TCM is actually stronger than the red boost
The top half of your nitro is fastest. Never use the bottom half of nitro unless you have to the. 2 TH-cam's that have the best TIMES etc are ALEXCORNUT and MILITIA GAMING COMMUNITY. Both awesome guys with great tunes.
Something that’d be even more fun is the ability to play with cross platform friends…. If you’re lucky you can try to get in a grand race or demolition Royale together but being in the same crew??? nah too hard for Ubisoft to do….

I got silver in the summit. But when it ended and gave me my rewards it said I only got bronze ? . Just a bit strange. Don't really matter seeing as I will never get platinum or even gold.
Grand race is terrible can’t figure out why people’s cars are going faster then mine I’m last place right off the line and can never catch them idk why maybe cause I’m on older console running slowing frames then everyone else only thing I can think off

@@KainsTorment Try harding is when you properly focus on the game, when nothing else matters apart from it. Usually in online games. For me I'm more chill when I play offline games like FM 1. Sweaty players usually know all the tricks and tips needed to win.
When they finally decide to support Moza wheel bases ill be buying this game but ill wait till that happens you know they'll do it at some point hopefully sooner rather than later
The current summit sucks!!!!! I completed all the races, but the first can’t figure it out. They’re 10 times faster than me, and just shove me out of the way what the hell gives ? Watched a few videos. Everybody seems to takeoff at the beginning of that race. Yes, I have all gold parts on my car doesn’t seem to matter they just blowing out of the water. Hell they’re even faster when they go off road when I am on the road. 😞Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
Never mind but thanks after some checking and realized my settings were set on the most difficult once lowered, it became much easier to concentrate on my times.
Maybe I'm getting too old, but all the sound effects on zoom ins, some crashes etc, together with animations are getting too much for me. Feels like the videos are targeted at kids. Nothing wrong with that, since TH-cam is used most by kids, but it's pushing me away tbh.

One thing this game needs is that you should be able to go through slower drivers. Like in horizon 5 It’ll make things easier to gain positions.

you're playing against 50% AI. The crew 2 also did the same thing to show it has online players.
