Why wasn't this in the original tv series, this fight scene is ten times better than the original because this has a more physical fighting while the original just used the little props for flying, that was so cheap and disappointing.
Not true. Besides the props they were in suit struggling in midair and Ultraman chopped his claw off. But I do agree, this fight is insanely awesome. I always imagined Baltan fighting like this, but in his original two appearances he was all flair and no actual ass kicking :P
It's possible that this is a scene from oneof the recap films that was made in the early 80's, in that case, given that Ultraman's suit has bright yellow eyes instead of the white/light yellow ones he usually has.
