I absolutely love mind maps!!! I use them for so many things!! I caught this on the replay but would definitely like to see more content like this. ❤
I did many mindmaps: one for the world building, one for characters, one for plot. Had to separate them. Maybe I’ll make more if I think about what needs one.
This is why I love to build my settings in The Sims! :D

Zettelkasten… so funny you brought this up. I’m currently obsessed with zk. Reading everything I can get my hands on. As for anyone claiming what is or what is not zettelkasten… there are no rules aside from there being a storage system (slip box), notes, and a way to interconnect/link notes. We don’t all need elaborate systems to acquire good, usable notes. Excited to follow you on your zettelkasten journey as well. ❤😁

catching the replay because I was getting my kid's hair dyed purple on Sunday. (she looks adorable!) Anyway, figured I could pretend I was hanging out with y'all while I do my weekly planning and get set up for my day! :)
having tried both i'd rec Miro over Milanote. Milanote runs out of space much quicker while Miro never runs out of space within a mindmap, just can't make too many at once. it's an infinite scroll panel as well and I found it quite versatile in what you can use to put your thoughts and down and then in order. You have typical mindmap structure but a bunch of other things too and you can mix and match methods and tools
this was a real nice vod, I really like your streams talking through doing things? i.e. this and your planning the year ones. they are really motivating
Hi everyone! So, Sarra you were right! You aren't able to print off the templates without paying 78$. But If you go to the bottom left corner, you will see what looks like click that icon and it will show you an outline of your work. . (This will allow you to print it out). You can also do this with the FANTASY PLOT template. This one is super easy, all you have to do is make sure that the entirety of your work is on the screen, repeat SHIFT+WIN+4 drag, highlight and let go. It should take a screen shot of the highlighted section--add to photos and print it out. Sorry, I couldn't figure out "Without paying" how to print with the design. But, at least, with this you'll have an outline that you can use to possibly draw out your own design using what you worked on. :) Hope this helps everyone!
I almost forgot. I also was able to take the original FANTASY PLOT template screen shot and send it to procreate, where I then erased my previous work and created a blank version. So, now I can have blank templates:) All you have to do is send the blank version to your email and print it out. :)

obsidian might be easier to use, it's a local install but it's another mindmap software
Ooh thank you for the reminder about Obsidian. I've heard really good things about it but haven't tried it out yet!
I used to decorate my apartment for Christmas on Halloween eve, but my husband insisted on not doing this cuz he'd loose his Christmas mood before actual Christmas comes 😅
Sorry I missed it! A digital one is easier to rearrange. Or maybe my handwriting is too big! (Scrivener also has Scapple that does mind maps with a decent trial period.)
