Hey Erick. Glad the Super Clean ended up working out for you like we discussed. The body looks basically brand new for what I could see. That stuff is amazing.
Yes! It worked better than I thought. The paint was practically falling off. The body needs a little sanding, but I won't go crazy. It will be a runner so I don't mind the imperfections. I might try using it on a polycarbonate body next. 👍
@@israelgeddes604 So much fun! It was the first time I ever saw an RC monster truck. It is a special one for me too. I'm actually still working on it, It's about 80% done.
@@eekrcI hope you show it off can't wait to see it when finished ! And I soon hope to get another one it was tough easily built and still my favorite monster truck r/c and I'm so surprised that it doesn't seem to get much attention, I think a updated version would take the r/c community by storm much like updated versions of other monster trucks have!
@@israelgeddes604 I will definitely be making a video on it when it's done. For some reason it really doesn't get attention like you said, even though it was the very first RC monster truck! Even Gil Losi credits it for the inspiration behind the Losi JRX-T stadium truck. Unfortunately Marui only makes airsoft guns now, they couldn't compete with Tamiya and Kyosho back in the day. That makes the Big Bear even more cool if you ask me. It's more rare.
I know! Saved me so much time. Unfortunately the weather has turned in NY so I'm not sure when I'll get it painted. This is the time of year I work on projects and go through the cars. I should just take the family and move south 😂
@@eekrc It is cold and terribly foggy here today. The heavy rains should start up soon so I am out in the garage working on other stuff today as all I have to do right now is painting. I could start something else but that is just going to make a bigger pile up of painting to do later!
@@AddamsPlayground Exactly, I have multiple bodies to paint. Just not the right time. I guess we are getting the same storm as you. I've made my mistakes painting in this weather, it doesn't go well.
This was my first time using it, I heard about this product from other people but I didn't think it would work this good. It's so much easier than other chemicals I have tried.
Unfortunately it does not work with polycarbonate paint. I've been soaking a body part in the super clean for 3 days and it is not coming off, it actually looks and feels the same as when I put it in 😢.

It is some great stuff! I have done this before and also used it to remove chrome from parts too. The stuff is magic!

@@eekrc yes it is like 100% humidity with the fog being so thick. Recipe for disaster trying to paint in it!
Thanks a lot 💪
I didn't know this product 😉

As I type this, my Clodbuster wheels are soaking. I checked them and Super Clean seems to be doing the trick!
Yes! Super Clean works so good on plastics. I wish it worked on polycarbonate. have fun with your Clod!
Do you think it works on polycarbonate?
I'll be trying that soon, I have one I want to strip...I'll either make a video on it, or I'll let you know!
