I would also recommend joining Killer flicks on Facebook where we talk horror every day and have themes of the week every week ran by yours truly. Just make sure you answer the 3 questions or you will not be approved. We try to keep it as fun as possible for everyone and the mods are really good at making sure everyone plays (fairly) nice. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for all the hard work, I check your channel before I decide to watch horror movies
Ronnie Galaviz you’re welcome.
Excellent list. Real quality work. Now I have 3 films to watch from you list that I haven't seen. Here I go... Thanks!
Which ones?
I just started Monster Party. After that I'll watch Cold Hell. Tomorrow I'll check out The Forest of Lost Souls. Love your reviews. If I have time tomorrow I'll pick up some sinister merch. If not 2mrw then Monday for sure.
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 Just started watching Monster Party now. Looks good right away. After that it's Cold Hell and then The Forest of Lost Souls 2mrw. It was a great year for horror. If I have time tomorrow I'll pick up some sinister merch. Thanks!
Erik NikkiSoft Can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Send me pics if you get a shirt and I’ll share it on the channel!
Gracias for some insight about a few that I neglected to check out this year. Very respectful of your opinion so this was legit. Cheers to ya Dude!
Jaime' En Fuego thanks buddy. Did you do yours?
I was wondering what #4 title is? You told the number and talked about talking about the movie on a podcast. You said it was the top Shudder of 2018 9+score, but you never gave the name of the movie. I love your top movie lists, more along my style of selections than my other TH-cam horror movie channels! Just found your channel today & I love it!!
Terrified
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 Thanks a bunch!
Love the long list. I hate the people who only did a top five. Lame. Loving everything you do. Keep up the amazing work and keep your heart in every video. Cant wait for all you will do in 2019.
Thank you and you’re welcome
Super stoked you made one of those as i thought doing lists of top movies wasn't your forte! I will watch it later when i get home from work!
I gave in cause I know you guys like it.
Woww nice list bro :D great video ! AND FINALLY you're talking about your Patreon man , finally!
Good call on Terrifier! Suspiria hasn't grown on me yet. I don't think I understand it.
Jordy Baby it’s definitely a confusing and deep one. Hopefully it’ll grow on you
I’m doubling back to watch this vid in 2022… Can’t wait for your 2021 list! 🤗
I currently have Covid
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 oh no!!! I’m sorry to hear that! What a way to start the year, huh? ☹️ I hope you have a speedy recovery and feel better soon!
Video wasn't too long IMHO... Great job!
Oh thanks man 😀
This is a total surprise....knowing that you're NOT a list person Jason ❤️
Great Stuff!!
I personally enjoy Hereditary and it got my curiosity for going way back to when the trailer was first released. And that music! They couldn’t have made a better choice because on a subconscious level, it was actually as much a part of the film experience as the visual. I found their use of sound and silence was another layer of the whole package.
But I do have a question about your number 4 choice. I listen a few times and really want to check it out because I enjoy your selections but unfortunately did not catch the title. I did catch it was on Shudder but would like to know the title. Thanks in advance.
Are you A game of thrones guy? If so do you push content once it starts this week? I consume quite a bit of game of thrones content, and I think your take and perspective would be a phenomenal addition.
I fucking ADORE GOT but I don’t feel comfortable covering the new episodes on my channel cause I haven’t read the books! I should one day.
Hereditary was my number one, too!! I can’t believe Toni Collette wasn’t nominated for any awards..... friggin ridiculous!😡
Typical Oscars BS.
Nice interesting list! The Ritual was fucking fantastic! I still need to see Summer of 84. Sounds like my type of movie!
Also, was hoping that Hellfest was your #1 film😔😢. Haha
Sorry if you like it but I thought Hell Fest was completely forgettable and generic as hell. Glad it has it’s fans though
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 i was just joking about the Hellfest part, saw your review on it and knew you didn't like it haha.
But I do hope Halloween goes up on your list on your 2nd watch. I have the same issues with it too but after watching it more, I really appreciate this sequel. Surprised you didn't get the digital copy, i couldn't wait any longer haha
Have you checked out "Spectral" on Netflix? Came out in 2016, Action with horror and syfy element.
I know the film but skipped it. You dig it?
I really enjoyed Terrifier, Hereditary, Summer Of 84, and The Strangers Prey At Night. I also really enjoyed Mandy. Awesome list.
I am really looking forward to TWD coming back in February. The way the last episode ended was great. This season feels like a nice horror film. Angela Kang is doing a great job as new showrunner. Hopefully she will stay.
Do you watch Fear The Walking Dead? I loved the first three seasons, but now,the show has just lost its way, and has turned into horseshit. They got new showrunners in there, and they undid everything that the first three seasons stood for. Lousy reboot, hurt the show, more that it could ever help it.
Rant over. Thank you for another awesome video. Keep up the good work 😎
Good list. Im checking some of these out.
I look forward to your thoughts
Urban Legends: Bloody Mary coming soon?
BTW loved your list - Watched The Night Comes for Us on your recommendation... AWESOME and Summer of '84 back when you reviewed it - also GREAT
I love how after all that rambling about it you still didn’t mention what number 4 was called 😂
Before watching I bet this list is driven by what’s available on NF and PRIME
Close one. I saw 148 movies in 2018. Although not all Horror... Totally agree on The Open House. Loved it on first viewing, watched it with my wife the very next day and she loved it, too. No clue why people hate it so much. The ending rocks! But one movie almost everyone did not see: Incident in a ghostland (aka Ghostland). Directed by Pascal Laugier (Martyrs/2008). He gave us another great one and barely anyone noticed...
Key-Si Ling I liked it but didn’t love it. Maybe I’ll give it another try. Glad you loved the open house, it’s so good, I don’t get it!
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 Not a bad idea. I have seen it 3 times now and it grew with each watch. Same as Martyrs. First time was so intense but after a few times you tend to look for details more. And Ghostland has so many. And from what I see in your account this one should be straight up your alley, if you don't mind me pointing that out.^^
I haven't seen a lot of these but I'll add them to my list. Terrified was a great movie. Hereditary was very haunting and I have yet to watch it a second time even though I have the DVD. The person I saw it with had extremely high expectations for it (probably way too high) and her opinion is that it was lame.
Hereditary is not a film for everyone. It depends on what you consider horror and scary. Jump scares are not scary. Losing your mind of control and hurting your loved ones is terrifying.
great list man
I’m sure you will say something I don’t already know... so I’ll watch later. But increased by Patreon contribution to get the tier I want ❤️❤️❤️
I agree upgrade is Not horror .. I love it but its a dark sci-fi... Searching also your rite its a thriller BUT there is a strait up horror in the background (search results
ews tabs ect.) I think they spell it out for you in the DvD extras.
I still gotta watch Delirium on Netflix.
Wow The Cured sounds like a great new take on or first take actually on Zombie PTSD i guess you could call it. Im gonna check that out. Wait a minute your thumbnail says 2019. Thats fine people know u mean 2018. Can you even fix that once its uploaded?
I changed it! Thank you. Can’t believe I fucked that up. Oops.
Summer of 84 was good
Great list. I haven't watched a good amount of them but will definitely be doing so now. Also, fuck those people who say your vids are way too long. I like when give their opinions and go in-depth in movie reviews. It's feels like you're talking to a buddy about movies👍 Can't stand these 2min reviews that are vague and generic👎
I agree. Don’t worry, I’m not changing my style
What movie is at number 4?
Terrified. Did I not say it?!!
You liked Delierium? Awesome. I thought it was pretty good myself. I haven't heard anyone else talk about it.
That your shilling for open house tells me there’s a check from NetFlix in your pocket. It is slow and tensionless. And we’ve seen it before and better done
Kenneth Desmond Mosley yes, Netflix pays a guy with 4000 subscribers that has less than a thousand views on most of his videos. Money well spent. Good call on mother from 2017 making my list, good thing you can edit.
Did anyone see Dead Squad: Temple of the Undead yet?
JACK MOODY no! What’s that??
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 Zombie movie, has gore and nudity.
Heredity is crap. The emperor has no clothes on. It’s so self aware of its depth it reveals that it is contrived and planned and a mental excersize. Beautifully shot Toni collette is amazing. But meh!
Kenneth Desmond Mosley you came here just to talk shit? Are you aware of your own depth?
I fought between Mandy and Hereditary as my 1 and 2, and still can't really choose. Also the predator remake is not only the worst movie I saw all year but possibly the worst movie I've EVER seen
Remake?
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 *predator remake, sorry. Although I guess it's technically just a sequel but fuck it was terrible
