Simon pretty much called Harvey the consummate professional. When you said "is Hinata the rock of the group?", I was thinking I can't wait until he hears how Hinata describes herself. Jurin is a perfectionist but she is also a very humble leader that listens to her teammates and she has a great sense of humor. Chisa is the positivity of the group and Maya is the cheerleader of the group, together they bring the energy and the laughs. Juria is the innocence and pureness of the group. Cocona is the calmness of the group and is very wise despite being the youngest.
I truly hurt for Coco. She was devastated when Airi was cut. And there just something about seeing Harvey cry that triggers my tear ducts. 😆 Anytime I see her tear up, it's a wrap for me. 😭 Hinata is the Dad of the group. She is the the reliable one. The strong one. And what gets lost is, she's the same age as Jurin and Chisa. So while she's not as demonstrative as those two, she has wisdom and perspective to share. Plus she's what we would call a country girl. She's just wired different. I really think Hinata is intriguing. Underneath the silence is a star that is still being born. You can tell the people that have watched the doc. XG feels like family. You feel like you've watch them grow up. Nice reaction ✌🏾
This episode is heartbreaking… I have so much respect for Airi, what a leader. I think part of the reason Simon let her go was because all the girls were so dependent on her, it was the final step in XGs growth to cut the umbilical cord (hesenoo) and be able to grow on there own. The other thing is that he told her a year ago that she was not a candidate for debut in the same interview were Simon cut hikaru and the other girl. She was told that they want her to keep practicing with the main group and that anything can happen. Probably more of an insurance policy if one of the other girls decided to drop out.

In my opinion, I feel like COVID delayed XG's debut by almost two years and caused AIRI, the oldest member, to be cut. This is just my thoughts but I think there are multiple reasons Airi did not debut with XG. 1. Simon really did believe she had more potential as a soloist. 2. Airi's age became a factor, she is like 2-3 older than Chisa if I recall correctly. 3. XG members were relying on her too much and Simon wanted them to work as a team and each member be a leader. 4. Airi's music direction was not in line with Simon's, if you look at her music right now it's JPOP with some edginess.

I cried so much for AIRI…I still watch all her music 🎼. She is under YT as Kamiya. I watch her when I think about her time spent with our Xtraordinary Girls, I comment love and support to her. As the First Leader…they definitely looked up to her for guidance and as a big Sister. She has even celebrated the girls and two out of the 10 last members have performed dance challenges to the XG songs. This was very hard for me to watch let alone try to understand AIRI being cut. Harvey is so smart and yes…she is a critical thinker. MAYA is the Hype Man at the Concerts as well as trying to at that age navigate how to support the Team. Hichan is definitely XG’s rock. COCONA was definitely effected when AIRI left. Thank you for continuing the Documentary. It’s absolutely worth every second to watch XG’s journey. 🐺✨🐺✨🐺

Final Boss is stuck in my rotation and Kamiya seriously needs to make more content. Her songs are so much more edgy than XG's global appeal. She feels more indie - pop but still has that XG quality about her. I feel Simon is right that she's more suited to be a successful soloist than being in a group.
