    Ya it’s pretty cool synth. Like the chord options. Gadget gets bigger and better everyday. Thanks Jakob!

    Glad I got the nano key and the nano kontrol now as I have many of the synths in KORG gadget ✨✨✨

      I absolutely love those controllers. Light, portable, can take power from batteries or USB. Many possibilities for configuring them internally. The scale modes on the nanoKEY studio are exactly what I need, plus it has an arpeggiator. Both controllers are affordable too. The only thing I don’t like is that one has to use a PC/Mac to configure them internally. I wish there was an iOS app for that. But all in all, super satisfied!

      Jakob Haq ah... oh well I was trying to avoid the pc/Mac thing but my daughter has a Mac so I’ll just have to borrow hers to configure whichever one it is. I’m hoping it doesn’t have to be my computer because I don’t have one atm... graphics card is broken. It’s old for a Mac book pro anyway... 2011.

    I was very impressed with the quality of this new Gadget. Well worth the $10 price tag. They could easily turn this one into a stand-alone hardware unit to replace the MicroKorg and compete with the MiniNova.

    Love these chords Jakob, the synth sounds huge. Can believe it’s coming from a iPad actually. Grabbed it the other day, Just working it into a 90,s house vibe which will be landing soon.

    Hi Jakob! Great video! What means that the filter has keyboard tracking mode? I've seen this function in different apps/synths.
    Thanks a lot!

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Cristian Sapino Its can differ between synthesiser (hardware/software) but keyboard tracking usually controls an element across the keyboard. So if a filter has keyboard tracking this usually means that the cuttoff is being controlled by note position. Usually it means that playing higher notes/octaves opens up the filter, kinda like turning up the cuttoff clockwise. And playing lower notes/octaves closes the filter, kinda like turning the cuttoff down.

      Jakob Haq thanks! A few days ago I bought a Roland Boutique JP-08 and it has a switch of key follow in the VCF and another one in the Envelopes section. I still have to investigate how those work. Thanks again!

    I've been trying Gadget with bluetooth midi but it all went down the drain when I connected bluetooth headphones as well. Bad sync and notes skipping. Can iOS or Gadget not handle both at the same time?

    Does anybody know how to trigger the chord pads of Lisbon with the NanoKeyStudio, or with any other MIDI-Controller?

  • @Groho

    And another question: do you know what is the difference between the mac gadget and the legacy vst/au synth?

    Brother I purchased an audio hub 2x4 and am now using gadget in my computer as well ! Bye studio one! Never felt better about a daw in my computer !Studio one drove me crazy BECAUSE most daws just aren’t even slightly as intuitive as iOS daws are period ! Peace 🛸🎶👽👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Christo

    Great demo but I can only afford Cubasis 2 on Friday. Just wondering with the mixer if there are individual mute buttons that can be assignable?

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Jim Shannon on Sounds The only way of controlling pan, mute, solo and mixer faders is with a KORG nanoCONTROL studio midi controller. Those things speak native Gadget language and can not be assigned to other midi controllers. Btw it's all assigned like this as default with this controller.

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jim Shannon on Sounds ...wait now I'm unsure if your question was about the Cubasis mixer or Gadget mixer. Did o kust answer the wrong question? I was referring to Gadget in my answer just now. 😅

    Great video as always, Jakob! I recently bought Korg Gadget for my iOS device and it's incredibly awesome! I saw the extra in app purchases with different prices and also a Korg Module bundle with different sound gadgets. What is the best one (or two) to go for? Maybe you have some suggestions for me. Thanks in advance Mr. Haq!
    Greetings, Emiel.

    hi !.. Is it possible to edit the pads (using the chord function, not the key function ?. i'm trying a run.. The first note ( C) is using the first pad.. The second note is (B) played on the second pad. The third note i play (E) is using the 8th pad. Then i want to end on another chord, but its not any of the other pads. (i think its another E chord.. maybe diminished..whatever...).

    Hi Jakob, do you know if you can load multiple gadgets to other apps like Beatmaker 3? I am successfully loading gadget in but only one instance and I am not sure if I can split the Gadgets into different pads/parts??

    • @JakobHaq
      @JakobHaq  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gadget doesn't support multitrack output like that. This is why you're just getting one Gadget mode. 😅

    • @damiensimper
      @damiensimper 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jakob Haq Thx man I thought as much but thought I ask. I'm so torn atm because I love Gadget's gadget's but it's sequencer is frustrating as hell! oh well more standalone's to buy I guess...

    • @bittergums32
      @bittergums32 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Eʞko Punkt You can load multiple gadgets into Beatmaker 3 !! It's quite easy. It's nothing to do with Gadget supporting multitrack output. . . but since Beatmaker does you're all good. Just load multiple instances of it as an 'fx' unit in BM3 .. you have to change the midi ALL in Gadget and the midi for each 'fx' instance in BM to match each Gadget. There are videos on TH-cam .. or check the Intua Forums.
