- This is a brand-new video that was filmed on June 15, 2022, and I decided to save it for the off-season. Who could've known that the Philadelphia Phillies would end up going all the way to the World Series? I don't know, maybe EVERYONE in the stadium when Garrett Stubbs slugged a three-run walk-off homer to beat the Miami Marlins?
Prior to that there was a weird vibe in the left field seats. Several fans got drunk (shocker!) and heckled Kyle Schwarber, and then some other fans told them to STFU, and a few guys got ejected, but hey, that's Philly for you. Fans were also getting into it with Marlins outfielder Bryan De La Cruz, who was taunting them a bit -- all in good fun.
Huge thanks to Marlins pitcher Richard Bleier (IG = @richardbleier) for hooking me up with a couple of baseballs and playing catch with me. He's so damn nice, and it's always great to see him.

As a diehard phillies fan I will say some of us tell the team when they are underperforming but I am passionate when Im at games and are always trying to make the players feel confident even if they cant hear me yelling from up in the 400s!! Great video!

The Phillies didn’t even play them until early October, so it’s not all season either. Look at the series and the Phillies played right with them in most of the games, an accomplishment considering how stacked they were.

Believe it or not, Garrett Stubbs was the first to do a bat spike. This was BEFORE the famous Rhys Hoskins BAT SPIKE in game 3 against the ATL Braves.

I always heard that it can get really rough at Eagles games and I imagined it would be similar across the street at CBP,. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Philly fans were super friendly (at least at the game we went to) and nothing like I had imagined!! It's a great park and I can't wait to go back!!

If you’re going back to Citizens Bank Park on May 10 for Toronto at Philadelphia, you’ll more than likely see me there in full Phillies attire. Yes, I have a replica jersey, an on field cap, a pair of white baseball pants with crimson pinstripes to match my jersey, and a pair of red baseball cleats to finish my replica uniform.

If you have any ticket for the game itself, you can enter and watch batting practice, but some stadiums (Ahem! Phillies!) don't open early enough for fans to see the home team hit.

Philadelphia teams have such an awful reputation as losers that our teams ought to be heckled. Perhaps by heckling they will focus more on playing to their ability and less on their contracts and bank accounts. After all they work for us. We pay their super expensive salaries through ticket sales. It’s about entertainment not money.
