Rate too much and spares hard to find, the solenoids , cv , seals , turbo , ecu are all prone to failure, its not a problem considering you can afford it, but the availability for the spare will cause your patience and money to drain, the mileage is too poor, i owned one.

I was planning to buy one bro, do you think its not wise to own one now?

@@Muhammad-daniyal69 buy if you are an enthusiast or go for something modern. if you buy it new, it will last without much effort but difficult to sell with out a heavy feeling of losing money. it is so nice to own in any other country except India.

@@astro2456 I've been driving a mitsubishi pajero glx 2007 model (my dad's car) since the past 6 years, apart from that I drive my own fortuner 2.7 4×2. But since the time I once got a chance to drive this Montero I'm crazy about it. There's nothing like it I guess unless we opt for a LC or GL series in Merc which my budget wouldn't permit me. Even for my Pajero I had to install the iron man nitro suspension kit, coz it took me over a year to get the original suspension kit, which I never really got.

@@Muhammad-daniyal69 no doubt it's a good car, but small bits like the solenoids or any electrical motor could fail if the part is degraded by the elements or more than 8 or 10 years. Those small parts are hard to source. The number of enquiries or waiting time you endure.
Especially if you care for the car you would have to call a bigger tow truck, and if you decide to sell it, its bitter to see the nice car go for so cheap when you actually know it's worth more. I owned those in 2 countries and the trust and reliability you feel for the machine is different due to services and availability. I , selling mine was economically a loss , and can't really use it for small trips due to the fuel economy. if you think of offloading, guess how easy could you find CV arms or actuators underneath the car.
If it was some other country, no issues

@@astro2456 Thanks alot brother for clearing out my mind, indeed acquiring parts is a big pain, unless Mitsubishi plans to come back to India in near future and restore the lost trust of its Fan base in India. So very kind of you that you took out time and wrote back to me. I really appreciate it. 👍👍
