A long time ago, in Phoenix, Az., I met a girl from Alba, Tx. When I asked her where that was, she called me silly, and said in a heavy Texas accent " Everybody knows it's right by Emory". I inquired no more. She was awesome.
If you don't mind me asking, how do you come to find this video? I used very little description and no tags. I wanted to share it with my family members who had never seen there fathers at this age. I'm just curious. I'm glad you found it.
This just showed up in my feed randomly. I've had quite a few others show up in the algorithm and really enjoy them. My dad turns 89 in November. We live in Indiana, Chicagoland area.
I suspect this came to me because I have a history of watching vintage videos. Some updated and colorized. This doesn't look like an affluent family. How were they able to make a video like this during the Depression? Lovely flowers and good natured family fun. Thanks!
It's 8mm home movie footage of my fathers family in the late 1930's. Affluent they were not. I used a Wolverine 8mm film converter. I then used Topaz Labs' to upscale it to 720p. Not colorized. Actual color film.

That's my father in the Thumbnail. He passed last year at 89. Miss him very much.

The algorithm is so weird. My best to your father.
