Charles Vallow tried to stop Lori. He tried to save Tylee & JJ. It's so heartbreaking.
He literally did everything right. I can't imagine how trapped and doomed he felt. Literally NO ONE listened to him, not law enforcement, not medical professionals, not his family, no one.
He kept going back for more. That too.

People died…..there needs to be consequences for this Arizona police department. The cops had an equal lack of interest as Lori. They dropped the ball big time. I think what they didn’t do is very serious.
I have always found this very disturbing. Charles tried to get help and wasn’t believed maybe?? He’s killed and she’s like oh, hi neighbor, sorry…and smiles?! Right after her husband was killed?! OMG
Well, she is sociopath... so nothing unexpected from her part BUT that detectives didnt do anything before or after and let Lori and Alex walk away without putting charges against them or at least investiging further is disgusting.
Also, least they could have done is send social workers to check or take the children away from her because Charles has told them his concern of the Children's wellbeing and safety In her hands, as well.
What kills me are the detectives thinking there wasn't ANY reason to investigate further and press charges. 😑😑😑
Right Lonna?! I watch a LOT of true crime, and ANY time there's a 'self-defense' type of shooting, it ALWAYS gets investigated! How else do they find out that it was a set up or a 'claim' of delf defense of sorts such as what Shayna Hubert tried to pull and she didn't get away with it because...THEY INVESTIGATED IT! She said the very same thing as Alex and got arrested and is now serving time for MURDER! What were these cops and investigators thinking?! Was Lori so charming that they just took her word! It is SHAMEFUL, IMO!

Why would you sue? Why not push to fund additional police training not drain their budget. Suing does nothing but create many hurdles in the name of justice smh

It isn't hard to understand her demeanor when you realize she was under the impression she was going to get the million dollar life insurance. She was probably deep down more giddy that she acted. Those cops were clueless when they didn't investigate more what Charles told them.

I think they planned on leaving the USA eventually and using those guns to protect themselves.

@Barb Murray this video only shows one time, but Charles went to the police several times, begging for help. He even told them she was threatening his life, they did nothing. The Chandler PD absolutely played a role in the murder. Obviously the majority falls on Alex and Lori, but we can’t ignore the negligence on the police department’s part

I do and I don't agree. For sure, they definitely as police had an obligation to investigate further but, I also know that there was an agenda Lorie and Chad had. They would have found another minion to perform their dirty work.

I believe a possible theory is Tylee was considered dark because she probably could not keep the secret on Charles death. I believe Tylee's body was burned because her body would tell a story of defense marks. I believe the mark on Chad's neck was from Tylee not JJ the weekend of the broadcast. The fire would also draw to much attention to Chad's property
therefore JJ was buried because it was to much work and would draw attention.
Wasn't Tylee already dead when Chad got marks on his neck? I forget the date that Gibb stayed over. I think Lori told Gibb that Tylee was at college.
Theory is the different ways the children's bodies were dealt with were to ward off demons. How messed up in the head do you have to be to actually believe in demons? It's just so stupid 😡

The realtor that sold Lori's condo could cut the evil with a knife when walking in the front door of that apartment. Once you feel it you become a believer and you never forget it.

@Leena Wexler it’s not their job to ignore a man’s multiple plea’s for help about his wife threatening his life. He went to the police multiple times, quite literally begging them to intervene. Lori even had an order to detain for a psych hold & they did not do their job! He went to them about how she stole his vehicle, drained bank accounts & threatened his life- again they did nothing. Then, after he was killed, they didn’t even bother to to do anything besides take Lori & Alex’s word for it, even though they all thought Lori & Alex were acting very odd. This whole “it’s not the job of police to protect an individual” was only a more recent court opinion & a way to excuse police negligence. Police officers are often negligent & sometimes downright harmful, but they have every protection in the world and are rarely, if ever, held accountable for their actions & even sometimes crimes.

I was ready to convict her after the phone call between Lori and Colby.
The police officer that spoke to Alex, went over to the other officers and repeated what Alex had told him as though it was fact, Alex wasn’t cuffed and arrested either though he just admitted murder.
Poor Tylee didn’t realise that hers and JJ’s last protector had been removed 😢
Worse than that. Tylee defended Alex's actions and she is the one who brought the bat into the situation giving Alex the go ahead. I wonder what was going through her head when she was being murdered by those she loved and trusted.

Lori took Charles phone that he went back for after putting JJ in his car. She grabbed it and wouldn't give it back. Creating the scene where they would kill him in "self defence". Charles just wanted his phone so he could leave but they had other plans for him ... She always play men with her looks and giggles...shame that police men would keep falling for it. One would expect better from them.
Those police officers should be fired. She was gigling because she could not hold back her exitenment... she thought million dollars is hers.
Agree, she was going out of her way to create an issue by denying him his phone, she admitted she refused to hand the phone to him.
I watched the whole incident and the way the police handled his death was disgusting. They didn't even question them on the story, that didn't make sense. He (Lori's brother) just got away with murdering Charles Vallow and the police are a huge part of this injustice. She is a psychopath and so was her brother and Daybell. So many people use religion as the reason for their evil and because it's 'religion' they seem to be untouchable.
And what's unbelievable is that the police believed Alex and Lori!! They first declared it self defense. It's was months later when all of the other Stuff started coming out that then they looked further into the shooting and changed the ruling to homicide. If they hadn't messed up the kids and Tammy could possibly be still alive !! 😥😥😥🙏🙏🙏

If Alex was hit by Charles with a bat, then Alex would have been knocked out. Charles was a big man! I am no expert, but the cut on the back of Alex's head did not look that bad. Alex was very calm on the recorded call. You can tell he was not doing CPR.

The fact that she didn't even have the wherewithal to realize she should pretend to be upset at the death of her husband, if she was trying to get away with conspiracy to commit murder, is definitely evidence that she was not mentally sound... That she didn't realize how incredibly suspicious and damning her nonchalant - even jovial - demeanor would be... Instead it seems she can't disguise her elation at the fact that another step in their diabolical plan has been carried out.

Although I never heard Alex claim that the bat was swung at him more than once, it is possible that if Lori's husband had missed with such as the first swing, then the second one (an alternate swing taken suddenly on the spot) could've been one that was much less severe.

I believe that Lori may have snatched Charles's phone and gone from room to room to bait Charles into chasing her for it and exploding with rage, giving Alex the excuse to kill him in self-defence - They could not have planned it better - even manipulating Kylie to come out of her room with the baseball bat. Kylee said - at her police interview - that she only stuck the bat out at her stepdad, and he then grabbed it from her. It was this bat, they said, was used by Charles to inflict the small minor scratch to the back of Alex's head - but probably, I guess, was done by Lori.

Charles really did try to do right. It’s tough when you’re surrounded by crazies. Men have to smart today, because it was many years prior that he gave his valiant defense against Joseph Ryan for the false accusations of Lori & Colby. A claim that one of those sexual abuse investigators deemed false & mischievous if I’m not mistaken, and I’m not. I’m just not sure of the professional title of worker & their exact professional analysis label of the perceived deception.
