After making these three videos doing the same thing in Resolve, FCPX and Premiere- comparatively PR felt well behind in basic functionality, just felt clunky and dated. If you don't need much collaborative workflow or AE dynamic link, Resolve is really really good. FCPX is the best for quickest in and output for personal work.
Rafael Ludwig ya, i wasn’t so invested in Adobe, I’d think about transitioning. I’t will be interesting to see what happens with Final Cut Pro with the iPad Pro for quick easy turnarounds. Too much info not to recap!
Thank you so much for this. It's crazy how well you explained it. I've tried to learn about this before and just had a hard time following along. But you made it so simple that I was finally able to learn how to properly do this. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
Thanks for this one! just started in making videos and I switched from Pinnacle Studio to FCPX one month ago, I edited one music video with pinnacle and the color work was horrible XD. Now with Final Cut it looks pretty simple and effective.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching and the comment!
Great tutorial. I followed along while messing with a short interview shot in CLOG. Do you have a video on vectorscope? I'd like to understand that better for skin toning. Thanks again.
I have this Tut for Fixing Skin tones in FCP th-cam.com/video/wO4KYDmr7BI/w-d-xo.html
And I have Advanced Color Grading th-cam.com/video/VDYmwNiHO_k/w-d-xo.html which dives deeper into secondary color adjustments.
