During covid lockdown, I went to the supermarket every three weeks. I would seriously consider driving to Fort William, once a month, if I was you. I would have thought a remote community like where you are would have a pool, whereby people take turns to do the grocery run, order online click and collect basis.
You have a very talented neighbour in Ardnamurchan - Hamza Yassin. He is a wildlife photographer and I think you can still find some of his programmes for Channel 4 if you have Internet - Scotland: My Life in the Wild. I love Ardnamurchan so I'm sure you will enjoy your time there.
Yes, we are big fans of his work as photographers ourselves! We've heard quite a few talented people have house up here 🤩🤩 thank you, we are loving being up here ☺☺

My kids are over there today looking around at property. Pretty area. Most remote in Scotland though? I'd give the Hebrides or Orkney that crown. True, they're islands but if you live in highland Scotland anyway you're about as likely to hop on a boat as into the car, so the "mainland" idea doesn't mean much. The sea is never far away.
We lived on Islay for almost two years so totally get what you’re saying! Though we would say that living in the Ardnamurchan feels more isolating and remote than living on Islay 😊 good luck with finding a house! Beautiful place to live 😍

We have now been ordering delivery from Morrisons! It's been a life saver and it's so much cheaper too.
