- Only ET celebrated 'When Calls the Heart's 100th episode with Erin Krakow, Pascale Hutton, Kevin McGarry, Viv Leacock and more Hope Valley citizens! The cast and crew gathered on set last year to commemorate the milestone, where the person who started it all, author Janette Oke, praised Krakow's performance as Elizabeth across 10 seasons. As for co-creator Brian Bird, he's ready for 'WCTH's episode count to go head-to-head with 'The Simpsons' when all is said and done! ‘When Calls the Heart’ season 10 premieres July 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

Grew up mom reading the stories to me. This and little house will always be my favorites. And such good memories from my childhood.

The show is extremely well done. But, I wish they would make more reference to the fact that it’s a Canadian story.

The show is still doing well. They just got renewed for a S12. True Hearties love it and are watching every Sunday night on Hallmark Channel or streaming it on Hallmark movies now!
No actually, it's the other ways around. Most of the fans don't like Locust, that's when the ratings got hit. Get a clue.

@@radicalreactions1633 I actually wanted to see Elizabeth date both men. So, I was fine with her dating Lucas for a short time. But I wanted her to discover her feelings for Nathan eventually date and marry Nathan. I feel the writers took it to far in getting Elizabeth engaged to Lucas. But the writers corrected course and showed Elizabeth at Jack's grave having doubts about her relationship with Lucas. I remember a conversation Elizabeth had with Nathan about how special hope valley is and how she wanted to raise Jack Jr. In hv. Then Lucas ran for governor and Elizabeth was having more doubts. Nathan noticed Elizabeth struggling with the idea of moving to Capital City and marrying Lucas. So then we get the scene at the church/school house where Nathan confronts Elizabeth. Nathan asks Elizabeth, want do you want? Elizabeth she realized she couldn't move to capital city or marry Lucas. So, she broke up with him. Now it's been a year and Elizabeth is ready to move on in a romantic relationship with Nathan. Always do what you are afraid to do was a plaque that Nathan gave to Elizabeth when Jack Jr. was still a baby a quote by emmerson I believe. So Elizabeth is facing her fears and discovering she is ready for a future with Nathan.
@@radicalreactions1633 I agree with you that if they would have had Elizabeth stay with Lucas and marry him the ratings would have gone way down. They had to have Elizabeth dump Lucas to keep the show going. I'm glad we are getting a S12 and Nathan and Elizabeth's romance is happening. I hope we get them dating, married and raising their children together in a blended family!
