Yep the early days of the Use Your Illusion tour. They were supposed to play that tour in my hometown but it got cancelled a few weeks before it. I never knew why. I also won tickets thru a radio contest. I was so excited han bummed out as fuck lol.

Yes they came out in 1987-88, and they actually opened for Bon Jovi on their first tour I believe. And they opened for Guns n Rose's as well. Then they became headliners.
I might be projecting, but the imagery in the video is gripping. It makes me look at people living on the streets as real people with history, with stories - with passionate love and love lost. I understand that many of the people living on the streets are or feel unwanted and unloved. I feel moved by the song and the video to remember and make bigger my love for all beings, but especially those who struggle to belong in the here and now. I feel humbled by watching this reaction video.

I saw Sebastian Bach open the New York Steel benefit concert, Nov. 2001. After his set at the concert, he went and performed on Broadway as Riff Raff in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sebastian then returned to the concert to perform at the finale. His voice was as clear and strong, from start to finish.
I've seen Skid Row a couple of times in concert. Once with Bon Jovi and another time with Kiss. Both times they were absolutely amazing. Great reaction!! 🙂

Dave Sabo (lead guitarist) is a schoolmate of Jon Bon Jovi. They are still friends. Jon Bon Jovi helped both Skid Row and Cinderella with recording contracts. Even took Skid Row out as their opening act in 1988-1989. Note: Tom Keifer (singer-Cinderella) noted that Gene Simmons 'discovered' them, but it was Jon badgering PolyGram (Records) that got them a development deal and then their hard work got them signed.

Sebastian Bach really was one of the best vocalists of this time, with almost unlimited range. Wasnt a huge SKIDROW fan, but I love Bach's vocals. He appears in Season 8 of Trailer Park Boys. He was receiving the shipment of weed on the Swayze Express, he then loaded up the train with cigarettes and sent it back to Canada.

They toured together more than once. You can look up Sebastian's Solo Album, Angel Down, which features three tunes with Axl on guest vox for three tunes. This was after Axl went missing following the dissolution of GNR, and before Chinese Democracy. Axl had been gone for 10 years or so. They sing (Love Is) a Bitchslap, Stuck Inside and cover Aerosmith's Back In the Saddle on that album. There's tons of footage of them singing My Michelle and You're Crazy at the concerts they did together, and footage from a RIP magazine party of GNR, Skid Row and Metallica doing covers of each others songs. Sebastian did background vocals on a song from Chinese Democracy, too. You hear Bon Jovi because Snake Sabo, the guitarist, grew up with Jon. They promised each other if one of them made it big, they would help the other get famous too. Jon got his manager to sign them, and they opened the Slippery When Wet tour with this album. Their second album, Slave to the Grind is their best album. They took Pantera and Soundgarden out on tour as their opener that tour. They did an album of covers, which is killer, and one more album called Subhuman Race, which has a couple decent songs on it, then kicked Sebastian out. They reformed with a different singer and drummer, and changed line ups half a dozen times. They're still touring and recording music. Sebastian has had several solo albums, had his own show on VH1, featured on several other shows on VH1, was the leading man in 3 broadway shows, worked with just about everyone, acted in movies, the tv shows Gilmore Girls, and Trailer Park Boys, and wrote a book. He's an endlessly enthusiastic rocker dude.
Few songs take me back to high school days like this one. I think I was a junior in high school when it came out. It always reminds me of my high school girl. I don't want to revisit those days and I don't want her back. But I'll never forget her either.
The 80s hair band singers' voices are BEYOND. ok. I didn't realize when i was 12, but now in my early 40s. Crazy. They are Fantastic musicians too. I miss them all. LA Guns, Skid Row, Guns n Roses, Extreme, Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella...so many more.
I have been in this situation. I fell in love with this young lady back in the early 90's. We never dated but we both had feelings for each other. She eventually moved away to Idaho. Moving toward several years I found her through social media. We connected and talked on the phone many of times. I told her that she was the one that got away, but she was in a different place back then and needed the change of lifestyle. We are really good friends, every now and then I'll bring up past events that we still laugh about. This woman holds a special place in my heart as I do in hers. We both made a promise to stay in touch. Hopefully we both can see each other soon. Thanks for sharing this reaction.

Loving the Skid Row reactions! I was able to see them twice in the early 90s. First time was when they were opening for Guns N' Roses at the 1991 St. Louis Riverport concert that turned into a riot. The next time was not quite a year later and they were the headliners. Soundgarden was their opening act.

He was amazing and LOVE the 1st Album, but QuickSand Jesus and Darkened Room and a few others on their next one are so Amazing and Spiritual.

Yes they came out in 1987-88, and they actually opened for Bon Jovi on their first tour I believe. And they opened for Guns n Rose's as well. Then they became headliners.

I might be projecting, but the imagery in the video is gripping. It makes me look at people living on the streets as real people with history, with stories - with passionate love and love lost. I understand that many of the people living on the streets are or feel unwanted and unloved. I feel moved by the song and the video to remember and make bigger my love for all beings, but especially those who struggle to belong in the here and now. I feel humbled by watching this reaction video.

I grew up listening to SKIDROW & YES Sebastian Bach was in love and she passed away and this song was dedicated to her and this is the best era of music back in the day that I love so much! AMAZING REACTION!!!

I saw Sebastian Bach open the New York Steel benefit concert, Nov. 2001. After his set at the concert, he went and performed on Broadway as Riff Raff in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sebastian then returned to the concert to perform at the finale. His voice was as clear and strong, from start to finish.
Great song. I remember when this was on the radio. Sebastian Bach is a helluva singer. And love the guitar solos.

One of my favorites by them 💗. His voice is so pure and can be haunting at times and the range....oh my goodness. I always thought this was about someone losing their partner to death but according to the writers it's just about partners leaving and the one left behind is do crushed. Sad 😓. Stay safe 🕊️

Sebastian Bach is at the top of my list as one of the best hair band singers! He has such a huge range. Him & Axl Rose have very similar tones in their voices.
Dave Sabo (lead guitarist) is a schoolmate of Jon Bon Jovi. They are still friends. Jon Bon Jovi helped both Skid Row and Cinderella with recording contracts. Even took Skid Row out as their opening act in 1988-1989. Note: Tom Keifer (singer-Cinderella) noted that Gene Simmons 'discovered' them, but it was Jon badgering PolyGram (Records) that got them a development deal and then their hard work got them signed.

I think cause of Sebastian Bach’s operatic style they got some association with pop and glam rock with their first big album, but I remember Slave to the Grind being a legit hard rock album that was totally listenable to me as a heavy metal guy.

Sebastian Bach really was one of the best vocalists of this time, with almost unlimited range. Wasnt a huge SKIDROW fan, but I love Bach's vocals. He appears in Season 8 of Trailer Park Boys. He was receiving the shipment of weed on the Swayze Express, he then loaded up the train with cigarettes and sent it back to Canada.

Piece of Me live on SNL. Monkey Business, official video. The Threat. Slave to the Grind. Living on a Chain Gang. Psycho Love. You know, Axl and Sebastian were good friends. They toured together more than once. You can look up Sebastian's Solo Album, Angel Down, which features three tunes with Axl on guest vox for three tunes. This was after Axl went missing following the dissolution of GNR, and before Chinese Democracy. Axl had been gone for 10 years or so. They sing (Love Is) a Bitchslap, Stuck Inside and cover Aerosmith's Back In the Saddle on that album. There's tons of footage of them singing My Michelle and You're Crazy at the concerts they did together, and footage from a RIP magazine party of GNR, Skid Row and Metallica doing covers of each others songs. Sebastian did background vocals on a song from Chinese Democracy, too. You hear Bon Jovi because Snake Sabo, the guitarist, grew up with Jon. They promised each other if one of them made it big, they would help the other get famous too. Jon got his manager to sign them, and they opened the Slippery When Wet tour with this album. Their second album, Slave to the Grind is their best album. They took Pantera and Soundgarden out on tour as their opener that tour. They did an album of covers, which is killer, and one more album called Subhuman Race, which has a couple decent songs on it, then kicked Sebastian out. They reformed with a different singer and drummer, and changed line ups half a dozen times. They're still touring and recording music. Sebastian has had several solo albums, had his own show on VH1, featured on several other shows on VH1, was the leading man in 3 broadway shows, worked with just about everyone, acted in movies, the tv shows Gilmore Girls, and Trailer Park Boys, and wrote a book. He's an endlessly enthusiastic rocker dude.

The 80s hair band singers' voices are BEYOND. ok. I didn't realize when i was 12, but now in my early 40s. Crazy. They are Fantastic musicians too. I miss them all. LA Guns, Skid Row, Guns n Roses, Extreme, Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella...so many more.

They Were Sent to Me from London
I have been in this situation. I fell in love with this young lady back in the early 90's. We never dated but we both had feelings for each other. She eventually moved away to Idaho. Moving toward several years I found her through social media. We connected and talked on the phone many of times. I told her that she was the one that got away, but she was in a different place back then and needed the change of lifestyle. We are really good friends, every now and then I'll bring up past events that we still laugh about. This woman holds a special place in my heart as I do in hers. We both made a promise to stay in touch. Hopefully we both can see each other soon. Thanks for sharing this reaction.

Loving the Skid Row reactions! I was able to see them twice in the early 90s. First time was when they were opening for Guns N' Roses at the 1991 St. Louis Riverport concert that turned into a riot. The next time was not quite a year later and they were the headliners. Soundgarden was their opening act.
