Do you need custom strings? We get asked this question all the time so we decided to make this quick video comparing custom strings and stock strings.

Awesome info. I just had some custom strings and cables built by 60X in PA a little over a year ago. You can definitely tell the difference.

Man thank you so much thank you I try all the time to tell people strings or what are the most vital part to your bow and arrow not just that but we all know that factory strings always come out of timing they stretch like no tomorrow some companies I ain't going to mention no names lie about the length of the string just to keep you from going somewhere else they put a ton of twist in their strength there's just so much that people don't know

I have a granite V3X 29 and I just put Gas strings on in flo orange wt gun metal servings. They are awesome.

Just shot a 3D shoot for Father’s Day, Mathew’s Phase 4 33 and at the 19th target my end loop broke. Stock string (zebra) so it was not served on the end loops. Was this a one in a million defect, could it have been that end loop not being served? Shot great all morning until the break. The bow and string were only 2 months old with my guess of around 1000 shots through it so far. Never had any dirt or anything in the cams, mostly only shot in backyard on bags and 3D shoot. Waxed the string and took care of it as best as I know how. What do you think!?

Do you feel like the Zebra string that comes standard with the Mathews bow is fine to shoot for 1 or 2 seasons or should I put on a custom string right away? My last two strings were the ABB Platinum series. Thanks for the video!

I tend to shoot my stock string for about 6 months and then switch to Americas best or GAS
