Not a bad video man easy way to do a full back window on the Teslas that you can do 40inch rolls lay the film from the top to the bottom so the fingers will go on the sides facing the doors and when you shrink them shrink them going down to the doors, don’t shrink it like a regular window up and down hope that helps
Great video. Just got my 2024 Model 3 in red just like this and having the hardest time figuring out how dark to go. Love the look of 5% but too dark looking out at night. And in AZ 35% is the darkest I can go in the front. And I've seen the 35 front, 5 rear split and don't think it looks great due to the lack of uniformity. I may just roll the dice and do 20% all around. I respect you taking care and thought removing the door panels. I'm now nervous about wherever I end up taking mine that they'll ruin my panels or like you said the led lighting strip. *New fear unlocked* lol
awesome video thank you. is there no way to capture all that moisture to prevent it from dripping into the car at the bottom of the back window? seems like that's going to cause some mold or bad smells in the interior
@@SeanMcDonnell33 all car doors have holes on the bottom for the water to drain out. A little bit of water normally gets in there during rain or a car wash also.
I have the highland performance with ambient lights too want to tint it but want to protect lights from water damage do I need to remove the door panel or just cover lights?
@@tonysharma3492 there’s a few ways, the safest is to remove the panel which is super easy (I have a video on it) or you can get something like panel guard that’s a plastic sheet to put over the panel while you tint.
make it look easy man, i just got the 2025 tesla model 3. watching tons of videos. nervous to do it myself.
This video is amazing. Reminds me why I am not a DYI person. The level of knowledge, skill, and patience is something I completely lack.

I wish every tint installer was like u. Remove the doors / pillars…Why is so much soapy water needed when tinting?
Thanks! The soapy water is mostly to clean the window as perfectly as possible and also to allow the tint to slide into position when installing.
