I think our responses have to be accurate and biblically sound, too. For example, the response to abortìon... There aren’t nearly as many of that type of abortìon procedure being performed now. About 2/3 of abortìons in the US are now by medication, therefore, most who do it aren’t going to hear that reason as the main reason for not having an abortìon since that physically vìolent way of tearing apart isn’t what.will be done for most, unlike the past. For the great majority, pills are the means. An act of someone doing that *to them and all of that potential trauma resulting just from feeling, seeing and hearing it isn’t what they’re likely going to experience so it’s also unlikely they’d be moved by that as the Christian reason not to have one .... and they might even really think this way is the kinder, gentler, “acceptable,” “harmless” way. We’re so far removed from so many things in this society - generally speaking - with all of our modern “conveniences” and this is an area that has made the “solution” far more palatable and easy. It’s not the “how”... that hands-on vìolence is involved to terminate pregnancy that would make GOD not be in favor of it. It is *that it’s done. Scientists could come up with a painless zap today and the pregnancy would be over and that wouldn’t have a thing to do with the biblical reason against abortìon. Imo, we have to be sure to be aware of what’s going on in society and biblically sound in our justifications, as well, when we give the reasons we believe what we believe .
A lot of black folks worship the "Rent was Due But God Came Through" Jesus. As long as He meets their material needs, they're in. No personal growth, no testimony, no repentance. Just "praise reports" of God cleaning up the mess created by lack of personal responsibility and materialism. Seen it 200 times.
Let’s also remember Błack folks have always been in the forefront in leading the way in this Christian faith. There hasn’t been any other group.. not even close... in America that has had a deeper Christian walk than Black folks. Some say Black Christian tradition is flawed for being very heavy on goosebumps, tingles and lack of knowledge while other (whìte) Christian traditions are very heavy on knowledge with little emphasis on chills or personal experience. Church isn’t a place to be emotional. It’s a place to observe. Either extreme is extreme. All I know is when the rubber meets the national road and the country is in a tight spot or crisis, it’s always Błack folks who can .... forever... be counted on to be rooted and grounded in Jesus, even in spite of everything. Błack roots might seem to be spread wide, thin and shallow with very little growth and based on fanfare and emergency thinking but somehow Błack faith is secure in every season and remains. 🙂
That is because black Hamitic (Hamites) tribes sold our people (Israelites, who are from Shem) to the white man during the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. Black Hamites in Africa look like us, but we are not the same, just like Chinese and Japanese look similar, but are totally different people.
Or the Muslim part…it all started based on race while after Muhammed lived and died. Muhammed set up the entire sub Saharan slave trade hundreds of years before the trans Atlantic slave trade….the the Muslims set up the smaller trans Atlantic slave trade…which was smaller and less violent ( 19 million slaves. 11 million slaves)

I watched this and while agree that many of us (black women) are lacking in apologetics, I was pleased to see how well they were able to display a spirit of peace and Godly love. The others seemed to be led by a spirit of offense and even a bit angry. Many of us are falling away because of what man has done, church hurt or whatever. So they look for other philosophies that pleases the flesh. One of the women said something about feeling judged or "uncomfortable". I think that we've strayed too far away from the understanding that Christians are supposed to righteously judge the behaviors of one another so that we as a body and Bride of Christ can be the Holy and spotless bride. But too many of us are so quick to take offense, true discipleship is not allowed.
Thank you for this, more black women need to see this. I came out of some dangerous stuff, lots of new age nonsense. People do not understand how spiritual the world actually is until they see something sober in broad daylight. Jesus saved me. God is good, all the time.
I too saw the video this week and was a bit appalled by the ex-churchgoers (we ain't gone call them former Christians...). Questions. So many questions about what was said versus what was asked. I really like the way you broke down that conversation. And yes, Black Christian women need apologetics. To your Amazon storefront, I go. I hope they on Audible...
I appreciate your work….. this is why I believe in Scripture’s sufficiency. Believers need to know how to read and study the Bible. Experience, though important, are not the litmus test. The Bible is. Thank you Miss tytus.
We have to understand that all other religious doctrines speaks of a Messiah. When we read The Holy Scriptures and The Lord Jesus stated "I am The Messiah" that's when you will realize that The Holy Scriptures reigns supreme over all books.
Apologetics is necessary for Christians in general. I remember taking it in college and not appreciating the course because I thought that I would never be around people who I would have to explain Christianity to. Little did I know
1:06 NOPE! She answered the question. Please listen to her response again, she SAID that she knows that "Jesus is the one true God because He was the only one who could set me free from" XYZ! The other religions do not have JESUS. Christianity is about Christ; there's no Christianity without Jesus Christ.
not only did she answer, but she answered it beautifully, none of us are perfect but I could only hope that I could beautifully articulate my faith in the same way.
She said the bible is misogynist, slavery is accepted in the bible, it is contradictory etc you cannot say jesus is the best however his teaching is so evil how is it given? She even said God doesnot exist. This is how we align we fault religion because the said the man of jesus is good and later twist his words and deny his deity.
We know it’s much easier to make reaction videos (and to live a life if reaction, in general) focused on everybody else and what they say and do that’s “wrong” than to create a life and a channel and say and do what’s right ourselves. There’ll be a thousand more videos here just like this since what’s said by others is truly the focal point.
(Correction above: ...”and to live a life *OF reaction, in general’....). It’s much easier to live life like this and it is what most (even Christians) do.... Just be a watcher. Watch what Beyoncé did, your cousin said, your coworker might have meant, and spend conversations for the rest of your life talking about that.
I think what Tytus is getting at is, your personal testimony is great for defending your faith internally, but not very effective for defending it externally. When discussing why Christianity is true, it is helpful to have evidences that aren’t reliant upon your personal and potentially subjective experience. Some examples: the evidence for the resurrection, the cosmological argument, the moral argument, the manuscript evidence and textual criticism of the New Testament, the fine tuning argument, etc.
@@Charlotte-bz8hothen why come in the first place? Why make the claim if you’re unwilling to back it up? You can think their beliefs are ridiculous but atleast they’re willing to discuss it. She came with resentment and judgement but wouldn’t even argue her case. In the end it just made her look silly not the Christians.
@@Rashellyjo the world is lacking in comprehension 😭 she def said this isn’t what the show is about and she is right this isn’t a debate just people sharing their beliefs and opinions they didn’t ask her to explain because they genuinely wanted to learn like how you’re doing the information is out there nobody can force you to believe it it’s on you 🤷🏿♂️
I heard a lot of hurt and pain from imperfect people on the church that harmed the ex-christians. A deep relationship with Christ teaches you that people will fail you often, and that God will never leaves or forsake you. Many people forget that the fall of man/sin is why so many things go wrong in life, and they often project their disappointment and hurt feelings onto our Lord, as if He would do that to us. I pray the woman in the Lavendar shirt gets free from resentment, disappointment, hurt, and lack of trust. When she decides to cast all her burdens on the Lord, her life will be transformed for the better. The woman in all black seemed open to being wrong and to experience the truth of a personal relationship with Christ. HEALING is what is needed here.
I’m going to pray that we all learn and read the Bible with the Holy Spirit because even the women who love Christ don’t really know much about the Bible. I was once on the side of the non believers and had all those opinions and honestly most of them came from my lack of reading for myself and I was listening to other’s thoughts. I never even read the Bible I was just lost and wanted something to blame for my life being broken. Especially because I felt I was a “ good person “
@@HiThereHeyThere Leaving possibly aside 2 Samuel 24. Or bequeathable, slavery. Or prioritizing... the elimination of, Achan's bloodline... Over a speedy resolution, to the slave trade, maybe.
Right. Thetes a diff bcuz good slavery then, in right context was jobs for survival. We see that even with Hebrews and Egypt at the beginning of famine, but there's also conquering nation slavery (they live vs being killed), and there's grace there in life being spared and a future hope of freedom. But then the bad slavery is kidnapping. But if theres prison slavery like getting rid of them by selling them into indentured to work off the debt or if its nefarious like African tribe chiefs getting rid of trouble makers (who might not actually be but just a threat to the church or truth) a mix of reasons why people were sold off, stolen and forced abroad etc where there's no way for them to work off and go home... well God's grace still covered that in their ancestors being blessed in the West, but not so in Middle East for those who ended up there and still are, plus any sex trafficking is also evil slavery of kids or women. Fortunately God works through all of mankind's evils, regardless of ethnicity evils, all nations, ancient times, modern times, etc to bring about His good will for those he calls to himself, and also to achieve the ends of his goals among humanity. He is amazing.
You covered this well! ❤ I love apologetics and im still learning. As we need to understand and study to show ourselves approved. But i know that the Bible was written by over 40 different authors in a span of 1500 years and not written in one sitting. The likes of it coming together so effortlessly and flowing is God himself.
The lady trying to refute Christianity at the 16min mark was using the same old Billy Carson talking points that lot's of misinformed anti Christian folks use.. They're the ones who've been tricked into swallowing a false doctrine .. We've seen what happened to Billy Carson when he came up against a real Biblical scholar ! 😝
Ok so the lady with the attitude, why was she going off on them saying they wouldn't believe any proof she brought to show them, didn't she go through the proof herself and come up with her conclusion. Why would she be mad if they saw her proof and said they needed to research it more themselves, isn't that how they are supposed to be? That was the weirdest part, cause she was super super angry, and why?
Good morning! I truly wish they had you on this show. I watched this prior to seeing your video and it was hard to watch because there was no pushback on much of what was said!
How is this girl an ordained minister? Of what? What do you teach or minister to? If your not using the Word to teach, lead, grow others? What even is a non-denominational church? Do you teach your own moral code, values, etc?
No one can argue against your own testimony. There is power in your own personal testimony and witness so I can see why you wish she didn't answer with her testimony
My bonus daughter is a College freshman and shared this video with me and my husband, tonight. When I tell you I was STRESSED?! NO BODY, the practicing Christians nor the deconstructionist former Christians, could adequately articulate what they believe LET ALONE DEFEND IT!!! 😅
I love your very mature review of this video. I saw this yesterday and thought the two former- Christian women were anxious and lacked the factual back up to information to prove their points..you cannot go into a discussion and not bring your facts and figures. The ordained minister started picking her nails. I love the books you suggest. Thank you. I just found your channel already appreciate and love it. Continued blessings. 🙏
The issue with apologetics is, it's generally for people who already believe or want to continue to believe. That said, I think personal testimony is a beautiful a d powerful way to convey WHY some DO believe, and has definitely changed the way I view the religion. Even in the video in question, I felt the Christian sisters represented themselves and their faith extremely well.
What convinced me that Jesus died and rose was the eyewitness accounts of the Gospel but not only that it was the deaths of almost all of the Apostles. Their deaths were horrific, they were persecuted for spreading the Gospel for decades and yet they never stopped. They went to their deaths proclaiming the gospel. Some might say that many would die for a lie but 11 of them? In some of the worst ways imaginable? It just doesn't make sense for all 11 of them to die like that for a lie but it does make sense if they died for the truth.
That's respectable, although another option is, they died for what they BELIEVED to be true. Which doesn't say anything about if it were actually true. We have countless examples of this throughout history...
The Arab flew plains into building based on his belief in Allah, does that make Allah real? You cant make Jesus waking up and floating into outer space a historical thing. We are told to apply faith that Jesus woke up and floated to space. Faith is used to believe. We dont apply faith to history. We accept history on facts. We accept mythology and religion on faith. Your preacher and bible requires you to apply faith because they want you to believe. Your science and history teacher dont care what you believe. They provide you with facts because they want you to know. Belief systems are not based on facts. That would be a knowing system.. Belief systems are based on faith
@@nickjones1314 A Muslim being willing to kill others and themselves driven by hatred of America and Christians is one thing. Being willing to be tortured for decades or slowly and painfully killed is another. Facing a painful drawn out death when all you have to do is recant shows a dedication that proves at the very least that all 11 apostles believed what they saw and experienced to be true. One then has to explain why they believed it to be true. Them all being insane is one theory skeptics have posited. But this would have to mean that they were all crazy, for decades, sharing in the same sustained consistent delusions for decades or maybe just maybe what they saw and experienced was real.
@@MirandaSinistra Man you sound crazy. People dying or being tortured for what they believe does not prove that they believed in is true. Thats silly. If you want to prove that a talking donkey is true, you dont look to the guy willing to be tortured over a talkin donkey. You just look for the evidence of the talking donkey. Cmon Now. You trippin. People will lose everything fighting for their way of life no matter if their way of life is true or not.
@Nick the apostles were willing to die for what they knew was a truth or a lie. Muslims don’t have that same advantage. They’re basing their lives on Muhammad’s testimony alone whereas Peter and Paul know personally if they saw Jesus death and resurrection. People don’t die for known lies but they will die for what they believe to be true.
What a morning to wake up and find your channel! I’m so encouraged! I’ll add your recommendations to my library. There’s one that I read in School of ministry by Robert Clifton Robinson called New Testament Apologetics. He’s a great humble teacher and available through email for questions.
Oh this was very insightful and eye opening. We must get better at defending our faith. I also believe that though our personal testimonies are necessary as it is our experience, we must remain scripture focused. When Jesus was in direct confrontation with satan, he referenced scripture. The word of God does not need defending it needs to be believed. With that said, my prayer is Lord help me to assist someone in their belief in you!
I watched a pod of two brothers that I’ve worked with personally talk about the deconstruction of their faith. And it did something to me knowing how intense and zealous they were for God, now using that same strategy to disprove God. Very torn by it.
The other part that got me going was when the lady started comparing the command of Christians to go to church every Sunday to Muslims praying 5 times a day… the Muslim prayers are found in the Quran Christians going to church every Sunday is not required for Salvation 🤦🏽♂️
Another point from around 7:30: the young lady says most people believe Christianity because it was taught to them by their parents, but then lifts up “practicing spirituality” as though it’s the true religion. But shouldn’t she be skeptical that spirituality was taught by parents? This goes to your point: we have to seek truth, not just live by our personal experiences.
I'm a believer because of the mounting historical & archeological evidence that backs up Scripture and the Church. We have writings from Early Christians such as Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, St. Ignatius of Antioch. etc, their writings back up the Gospel. We have non Christian historians like Josephus, a Jew who wrote and lived at the time of Christ.
Do we have any historical and archeological evidence that support a woman being created from a rib of a man and having a verbal conversation with a talking snake? Or are we just supposed to believe in those stories with no evidence?
@@oldschool5If that is your point, we believe many stories of important figures in the history of ancient civilizations that do not have historical evidence in the way you are asking. The fact is that no one is going to present this evidence to you, because you are setting up their credibility to be present in the moment, but the fact is that you don't care about your own condition, because you believe in too much "evidence" historical stories that you cannot experience in the first person, but you accept because it was written by other people, even us cases written centuries after the event.
@@cavaleirosemlicenca3894 No. thats not it. Im just consistent with my reasoning. I dont have selective scholarship in which i apply a certain standard of scholarship that supports my stance and then avoid scholarship when it challenges my stance. You cant just tell a healthy adult that a lady skipped childhood because she was created full grown and had a verbal conversation with a talkin serpent without providing said healthy adult with some evidence to support such a wild story. You might be able to tell children about flying reindeer but its different when dealing with healthy adults
The worst part in the video was the part where the ex church goers made it as if the Christians, because they believe that they have a personal relationship with Jesus, were incapable of thinking for themselves. As if the ex church goers were on another level intellectually even though they used to be a part of the “church” That part of the video moved me from being angry at the ex church goers to having true sorrow for them because they don’t realize the level of their deception.
You're argument is centering perception. You have a right to feel sorrow for those that feel superior to others, but it doesn't change the fact they are right. So many things were said that were factually inaccurate. Like for example the Bible does condone slavery. It explicitly says you may make slaves of your conquered. It explicitly states you may beat your slave as long as you don't kill them.

The fact that there are different accounts in the gospels, can be explained by the fact that they are all written to different audiences. Each different audience is going to find different things important like how the gospel that was written to the Jews, mentions the infant bureau, whereas the other account do not mention the infant burrow
11:40 This argument in particular drives me batty because the Christians in North Africa were some of the very first to receive the Gospel. They knew about Jesus because Philip told the eunuch of Queen Candace of Ethiopia. Their belief in Jesus wasn't due to colonialism they chose to believe because of the testimony of the eunuch, who also knew about the prophecy of the Messiah because he'd read about the prophet Esaias but didn't understand who the prophecy was in reference to. Acts 8:35 (KJV) Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
After watching this video and listening to your take I appreciate your insight. My only issue with apologetics is that it tends to lack in compassion and genuine understanding of differing beliefs. As an agnostic, apologetics leaves me feeling like I can’t have a real conversation about issues I have with the Bible without being shut down with apologetic excuses. The goal of apologetics is to help strengthen Christian beliefs and answer those tough questions that are intellectually or theologically difficult. Some people try to use apologetics to witness and in my opinion I think it’s better suited for Christian ministry to one another. I think it’s very important for every believer to understand WHY they believe what they believe. Unfortunately, the whys fall short for non believers. Apolegtics can help Christians justify and see Gods love in ordering the killing of every Canaanite including women and children, but for a non believer it’s hard to process. It would be nice to hear a Christian say “hey, I don’t understand fully and I won’t try to justify that.” You can end up in a slippery slope of ethics and morals when you try to theologically justify Gods commands. How do you think the slave trade was justified? They used scripture and apologetics.
Your channel popped up on my feed idky but ...cool. I am usually very leary of any youtuber and even ones in specific circles, but so far your video till 3:15 is spot on and Imma listen to it. Hoping it's solid. I also had seen the video you are critiquing but feel folk who make those are usually anti Christian, pick the flimsiest "Christians" or ones who can't articulate well the biblical truths, as there's sn agenda to decieve and turn people from Christianity. They'll throw in Catholics and other non actual Christians but then load up the liberal/unsaved side. I'm glad to see someone critiquing these and educating their audience and giving folk the opportunity to restart your video when they come across people who hold false views . I'll give my thoughts on the video in reply... but as I said, I'm hopeful this really is a Christian and solid channel based on what you say here, and that it will bless many. To me it's not just apologetics, but theology, understandjng Scripture... and the lack of these folk jumping ship without solid convos with their pastor. The reason is... they've no desire to follow God. They were idolatrous moralists all along and never Christian. But it doesn't mean one day they won't get saved. Many young people get truth watered from 20 to 30 yrs old and typically come to saving faith... but all the damage they do online over those 10 years by others listening to them reinforces the skeptics and ship jumpers views. But God sets things strait for those he saves, not returning void, in the end.
That one lady came from a huge pack of lies and dominated the convo to push her anti Christianity view. Her absolute bold faced lie about contradictions in the Bible is a tired trope ling debunked, [like the other Christian lady explained are just difficulties that can be resolved with proper examination]. But the big thing that sets off flags to me is the lady who left Chrustianity, but became a legal minister to help.people skirt the law, is dangerous both cuz many leave Christianity due to lies, doctrines of demons, and false ministers masqurading as ones of Light, such as the gal in comments here about leaving church cuz of what went on in church. Whether parading around as a minister abd subtly or overly bold faced lying and ddcuevunv people with unbiblical lies in things she spews daily, or being in a platform speaking somewhere [even youtube as her "church" people come to hear her at] again... false teachers need exposing and then guiding the decieved to truth and solid churches.
The posture of offense will keep you locked out of the truth of the scriptures. The Bible is the inspired word of God. Man’s application has been flawed but the Bible is not.
When a person doesn’t want the Gospel, they will find anything to not believe. They really just don’t want Jesus. These former Christians had very weak excuses. We are called to share the gospel but also equally responsible to be able to articulate the Gospel. I have a sincere heart for Apologetics. I’m grateful for your channel. ❤
Thank you for sharing miss Tytus! Will surely buy the recommended books. As I live in a country with many 'woke' anti Jesus/Bible black folks. Question: One of your friends, whom you featured alot on your channel in the past, also has a book of his own research on slavery. I cannot recall his name. He also shared his view on the BLM movement. Can you please link me to his book too.
This is the second of one of my Christian TH-camrs that shared from this Miss Jones and Nick Jones I don’t know of any relation. Both of yall had a good analysis. This video I like how it was addressed that the ladies need to answer the questions better. That lady with the spiral curls talking about people voting for Trump comes across as a flaming liberal leftist. She just needed to say straight up that I wanna do what I want and be liberal and the Bible doesn’t support my immoral ideology.. It’s crazy how she thought that people only voted for Trump because of abortion. I’m like policies. Like not sexualizing children and letting them decide their own gender and people being allowed to transition their underage kids. Freedom of Speech, second amendment. Here’s one abolishing the IRS . Yep I will say allegedly in the plan. I can keep going on things that a liberal person might want implemented. No men in women’s sports and no boys in girls sports. Yeah apologetics. No one seems to have had a divine encounter and the Christian ladies testimonies would have bothered me if they were talking to me if I’m going through and I’m actually a believer..🤷🏽♀️… Yeah I heard the Bible and Christianity was in Ethiopia before it was given to any of the said European nations with the said non brown people..🤷🏽♀️
I saw this a few weeks ago! It's really pretty sad! And I just prayed that the Lord would put someone in their path to teach them. The young PK kid had some decent points, but she also needs assistance. You won't get too much of anything from this session at all. You will be stopping and going all night, lol.
Great debate: l know people see different narratives in the gospel so therefore the conclusion is the Bible is inconsistent. Why is it acceptable for different narratives in other areas? We never questioned the validity of let’s just say the recipe of a lemon cake. Some include orange juice while others don’t. It doesn’t take away from the finished cake. We don’t call that inconsistent. Man has always tried to understand spiritual things with a fleshy mindset.
Its crazy, but people are purposely blinded abd hard hearted as well as Satan blinding thrm, and times God too. If they want to know "why" the Gospels [which all say the same thing] paint a picture thr way they do... they can ask their pastor, Sunday school teacher, or even gptchat will rightly break that down. It's who the audience of the Gospel was written to, and the purpose theme of what theyre showing Jesus as King, Physician, God, Messiah etc. [*I wrote thst down decades ago in my Bible over each Gospel, but most Bibles w intro pages explain it today]. They don't ask those shepherds in the Church cuz they're not interested and are seeking an excuse to bounce and live in sin, as they were never of us.
Tbh.. both sides had zero to no scriptural knowledge. This pretty much made the Christian side very weak coz all they had is personal experience answers which, as nice as they are, can not convince or bring conviction to anyone. This is why we must truly know the word fully and be ready to defend it with knowledge, wisdom and authority. This debate should have finished with a whole alter call lol.
Come on now. The entire Bible is full of “experience stories” once people meet Jesus. And the experiences of being the children of GOD and witnessing His mighty works fot His people in the Old Testament before that and the Psslms being songs to tell of it are what this walk is all about. People have “a problem” now with hearing other people’s exoeriences, while that was the entire point of the Books of The Bible, to tell of encounters with GOD and JESUS. That’s literally what the Good News is. It’s strange how people would say today there is no experiential basis to be considered as valid testimony when it comes to engaging with and personally being changed by The very same GOD and want the faith to be reduced to memorizing and rituals. It’s a living, active relationship and we *will experience Him and we *will be changed. Tell it.🗣
Great insights, Mrs. Tytus! Thanks for sharing. your thoughts and this video! The lady whom I will refer to as "How to get away with murder" talks a bad game and argues fallaciously!
So if most slaves didn’t have a “slave Bible” smh how could they been practicing Christianity? What do you think the world was practicing before Christianity?
Most slaves weren't allowed to practice Christianity. They had to do it in secret because the slave master understood that the Truth would make these people have hope and courage enough to rebel. Also, most people were illiterate prior to the printing press so I'd imagine the Gospel was passed along like most other knowledge-through spoken word. Most of human history was passed through oral tradition after all. Before Christianity, its likely they practiced polytheism or some form of anima worship.
I definitely heard some Billy Carson stuff in there from that one girl talking about "I am God, you are God, you are God." I don't think you covered that part but I remember thinking this is the worldly myths and philosophies Christians are warned about.
The first woman doesn’t sound free at all, she sounds like she is a prisoner to guilt over her decisions. It appears that any religious belief that made claims to forgive her would feel true to her. What would really be helpful is if she forgives herself. Then she could ditch the middleman.

I was quite amused when I was watching the video. Idk if we should pray for these guys as per Hebrews 10:26-31 and 1 John 5:16, but I do specifically agree with apologetics being very important. Sometimes we Christians do the most damage to ourselves. But I do like that they engaged the women with love.. they did not get carried away.
The passage says THEY overcame by the words of THEIR testimony. In context, this passage in Revelation is about something that happens to a specific group of believers in the end times, not all Christians. When you have a moment go back and read it again. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@ so you’re saying that this does not apply to present day Christians! It’s an example for us “present day” Christian’s. At that rate, not much would apply to us would it? No, ma'am, starting with the testimony was wise. Her testimony introduced WHY Jesus is the only way. The peace that Jesus gives is true peace. Those who don't have Christ don't have true peace and they are aware of the difference when they encounter a true Believer. The Believers did an awesome job within the time that they were given. They definitely displayed the fruit of the Spirit. As you can see at the end, the lady in all black dress became curious because of the Believers
So my question to you miss Tytus…why have you not started a ministry for women apologists. You’re the first one I’ve seen publicly. Why not disciple them? That’s what we’re called to do right? I wouldn’t mind being one.

@ As a born again black woman and I state my race simply because Jesus saved me from false doctrine especially ones have to do with identity and race I never knew Christian apologists existed. I got born again May 2024. Since then the Holy Spirit has been teaching me and introducing me to channels like All things theology and yours. Your channel is the first channel to mention a specific pastor that no one mentioned. I’m hyper aware of false doctrine because I was deceived by it my whole life. It often feels lonely sometimes because people may see me as nit picky or overly dogmatic but the issue with false teachers is so rampant I see why the Bible has so many books in the NT that touch on it. It’s disturbing actually when done by people who call themselves Pastors. The unbelievers I give grace to cuz they simply don’t know any better but it’s the people who call themselves Pastors that cause me to have righteous anger. The Word of God is sufficient. I’ll keep you in my prayers because what you’re doing is so needed for young Christians but it’s so hard to find women apologetics. Especially Black ones
@@TytusJones Great breakdown of the video. Anyways, here's an idea for how to get started on uniting female apologists. I would start with getting a list of female apologists to see who would be interested for let's say, a monthly zoom meeting on a different topic related to apologetics or current events or something. The first one could be introducing each other, giving backgrounds, and letting them state how they got interested in apologetics. You would moderate. Keep it upbeat. If everything goes smooth you can have guests who might be male or female (the sex of the guest won't matter). Just my two cents.
Apologetics involves presenting arguments that demonstrate the existence of God and Jesus, while also affirming that the Bible is not merely a collection of myths or literary works. Many individuals lack familiarity with the history of Christianity and other religions, as well as an understanding of significant epic literature, such as Homer's Iliad, Babylonian creation myths, and Mesopotamian wisdom literature. The Bible often resembles literature and mythology because it incorporates elements of both. To foster a deeper understanding, people should engage with texts beyond the Bible and critically evaluate the rationality of biblical narratives and other religious stories. For example, when examining the story of Noah's Ark, one might compare it to similar flood myths found in various cultures, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, which features a hero who survives a great flood. By exploring these parallels, individuals can gain insights into the cultural and historical contexts that shape these narratives.
That kind of study offers too much freedom and liberty. How can people speak to you on behalf of a god when understand that the god does not exist? Apologetics try to keep the men that speak for god in power.
@@GonRogue-85 That has been my experience. And listening to these women it appears my experience is not too far from reality. I'm not saying which religion is right or wrong, but it SEEMS most people base their belief on their feelings. That's not an issue except when you ask other people to believe something based on how you FEEL about it. Even the Bible says that one should be able to give a strong defense of their faith when asked. They did not do that.
I understand what you saying but the woman who had a abortion and Jesus Christ. So people need to hear that unless the heart is soften the Word of God is not going to reach the harden heart.

Philip and the Ethiopian" refers to a biblical story found in Acts 8:26-40, where Philip, one of the early Christian deacons, encounters an Ethiopian eunuch reading the Book of Isaiah on the road to Gaza and explains the prophecy about Jesus to him, leading to the Ethiopian's conversion and baptism; essentially highlighting the spread of the Gospel to people from diverse backgrounds. Key points about the story: The Ethiopian: This man was a high official in the court of the Queen of Ethiopia, traveling back from Jerusalem after worshipping there. Philip's role: Guided by an angel, Philip approached the Ethiopian while he was reading Isaiah and explained the passage as referring to Jesus. The key moment: When the Ethiopian asked Philip to explain what he was reading, signifying his desire to understand the scripture. Baptism: Upon understanding the message, the Ethiopian immediately requested to be baptized, which Philip performed by the side of the road.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Reprobate minds exist and Christians have to accept people’s willingness to ignore Gods principles to remain in their comfortable existence.
My question is if this God is real, why would we be forced to pay bills and live in a capitalist society that hates us? Like literally, I don’t see how that makes sense. And the Bible says I create evil and good… like it’s just a basis for justification of all things.
Because it's not. The Bible was written by people of that time trying to explain the world as they knew it. What Christianity did well was tell humanity that it was sinful and evil and that it needed a savoir and offered a solution to the nonexistent problem... And if you don't accept the solution you burn in hell..... So really you have no choice but to accept Jesus. He loves us, but he'll burn us in hell. God made us, but he made us all sinful from birth.... He couldn't just make us good and get it over with. He made us wrong, flooded the earth to kill us, then made us wrong again. Killed his son to save us... And look at as now... Still sinful as ever.
@ I do agree with you that people were just viewing the world and trying to explain their perspective on life. What I do know for a fact, is that if you have faith in something, it will indeed come to pass so everything is just mind and everything is just beliefs.
@@Sarabimakeda well my hope for you is that you have faith in yourself. Live the one life you have to the best of your ability and according to what you believe is right. ❤️ Be it religious or not.
God cannot bring us back until the resurrection. Sin came into the world multiple times due to rebellions. Genesis, the first corruption of humans, but not the first time something sinned. If you look at even ancient egyptian art you can see these serpents with wings, one of those guys was supposed to be guarding adam and eve. Then more rebellions, you get genesis 6, Babel. The picture begins to come clear. We see Exodus, God says he will strike Pharoah and what else. All his host, Psalm 82. The Bible is a book on spiritual realities. It's there but it takes time to uncover.
We live in the society that we do because of our fallen nature. We rejected God and have been dealing with the consequences ever since. Isaiah 45:7 is not meant to be read as moral evil, the hebrew word used in that scripture is Ra'ah also translates to calamity. If you want a more detailed analysis of that scripture Pastor Mike Winger did a video on it titled: Did God create evil? A misunderstood Bible verse: Isaiah 45:7.
I never believed in Christianity, even though my mom was the real deal. My dad, well, maybe he made it in due to a later belief and repentance? But I 'accidentally', read a book that made me believe that Christ was God! Not the Father but he is the 2nd person of the triune God. I was at a party when someone told me about a book called, The Late Great Planet Earth. It sounded interesting especially since I was high on Joint! But he was actually talking about another book called, The Chariots of the gods. He got the title mixed up. He probably was high as well. I don't know. Anyway I picked up The Late Great Planet Earth without looking inside the cover. When I opened it up to read it I was disgusted to find that this book was religious in the traditional sense. But hey I felt like I should read it since I spent my money. I can't remember exactly how long I was into the book that I was convinced that the Bible was true. It hit me like a ton of bricks that Jesus is God. I came to this conclusion because the book is driven by prophecy and Jesus met the criteria of the one who is the Messiah. Mathematically speaking the Bible had to be true due to the fact that prophecy verifies it. Even today you can see prophecy being played out directly and indirectly. Mathematically speaking Israel should have been swallowed up centuries ago. But here it is even though many people think that it's mere chance or the people are not really Jews. I just think if I were a Jew in Hitler's Europe I would be inclined to tell him that I was only playing. But if a I person doesn't want to believe they just won't. It doesn't matter what you show them. Think about Judas who spent three years with Jesus. Not only did he not believe in the diety of Christ but I think he thought that he was smarter than Jesus. That is my opinion. But the point is that some people will never believe. And some of these people come from religious families. Now that's how I came to faith but a lot of other folks come to faith because of a personal conviction which is something that you can't objectively quantify. But I'm okay with that.
I left the church because of the constant micromanaging and long list of rules. I no longer consider myself a traditional Christian (not believing Jesus is biologically the son of God) through reading works of other Christians on Jewish history, mythology and culture. Jesus is still amazing to me, but as a role model who was called the “son of God” because of how he treated people during his time. He was different, and his followers attributed his teachings and uniqueness as something from God. But not literally because he was his son. That’s my belief, and have met so many people who have come to this point.
I'm a little confused by the wording of your second sentence. Are you saying that you don't believe Jesus to be fully human and fully divine because of the teachings from other people in this area? I hesitate to call them Christian because if they don't believe Him to be God then they aren't Christian. Perhaps theists would be more accurate.
You said "Christianity has proven itself to be true through a lot of different means, but basically if you can prove God exist and you can prove that Jesus rose from the dead or at least give sufficient reasonable evidence for that. Those are good reasons to believe that Christianity is true." I don't think I left out a word or got anything wrong. So I must be missing something. Saying Christianity has proven itself true by a lot of different means without listing what those means are isn't giving sufficient evidence to believe it. So the good reasons to believe were not given. What did I miss?
Neither side was prepared for this. Easy homework: 'The Case For Christ' by Lee Strobel (book NOT movie), youtube channel: 'Cold Case Christianity'. After about 6 episodes you're gonna WANT to start debating the validity of scripture. I recommend every Christian keep a folder on their computer for 'receipts' when they need to reference something. Atheist arguments are not deep. Believers are just unprepared.
To the last point... its because churches have failed them [as part of the reason]. There's only 37% of pastors who should today be in a pulpit, cuz that's the latest statistic on the ones who hold to the authority of Scripture and actually preach it too. So "as goes the pastor in the pulpit so goes the congregation"... mostly. If there is no speaking regularly of daily reading it, getting every member actively in Sunday School, and doing courses or setmon series on the core essentials, Foundational Theological truths, going through theology, and having those [in tech era] avail online fir new members as part of a new believers or discipleship class for new members to go through b4 membership, to ensure they grasp these, plus a Q&A session with the home fellowship groups and even with the pastor in evening service once a month, then they aren't being taught what they need from youth to adult ages. Everyone comes to Christ or grows up in church at varied ages and all these folks need to have this info, so they can't make excuses, but hopefully turn to Christ AND have their faith solidified, so even unsaved athiest professors can't shake their faith. Fortunately today were finally getting solid apologetic ministries info online avail and more are coming to know truth and answers on things they never had avail before, so hopefully it strengthens church congregants now and they educate others, so overall Gen Z and the ones who left of Millenials will come back; get saved. Prayers

Every Christian needs apologetics, honestly. We can't share our faith if we don't even understand it ourselves.
Amen Sis!!!

Just "praise reports" of God cleaning up the mess created by lack of personal responsibility and materialism. Seen it 200 times.
LOL FACTS
We have to understand that all other religious doctrines speaks of a Messiah. When we read The Holy Scriptures and The Lord Jesus stated "I am The Messiah" that's when you will realize that The Holy Scriptures reigns supreme over all books.

Thank you sis! 🥹🙏🏾❤️
Poor Billy!!! 😭😭😭

Thank you so much! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
~ i think EVERY christian needs to delve in apologetics.
Facts!!!!
Absolutely. Once I myself did so, I began to be able to address every single talking point used to argue against the Faith
😭😭😭
How is this girl an ordained minister? Of what? What do you teach or minister to? If your not using the Word to teach, lead, grow others? What even is a non-denominational church? Do you teach your own moral code, values, etc?
(just as an fyi, people can be ordained online for free in minutes. It’s not like it’s any “professional” process. Anybody can do it.) 😯
I just watched this with my wife the other day to get her feed back. I can't wait to hear your response.
No one can argue against your own testimony. There is power in your own personal testimony and witness so I can see why you wish she didn't answer with her testimony
So what about the Indian who has a powerful testimony that he attributes to Krishna. Does that mean that Krishna exists?
My bonus daughter is a College freshman and shared this video with me and my husband, tonight. When I tell you I was STRESSED?! NO BODY, the practicing Christians nor the deconstructionist former Christians, could adequately articulate what they believe LET ALONE DEFEND IT!!! 😅
😭😭😭
Good video. I love the book references. I bought a few books from your channel. Thank you
Thank you sis!!! 🙏🏾❤️
Thank u so much! Let me know how you like those books! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
💔💔💔
The other part that got me going was when the lady started comparing the command of Christians to go to church every Sunday to Muslims praying 5 times a day… the Muslim prayers are found in the Quran Christians going to church every Sunday is not required for Salvation 🤦🏽♂️
Also, Muslims DO have a weekly service, called Jummah. On Friday.
This was awesome Ms Jones!🎉🎉🎉

WHERE IS MERRY XMAS AT IN SCRIPTURES IF YOU GUYS SAY YOU ARE THE CHURCH THEN YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE SCRIPTURES
Christmas on Woden's day is very special
Another point from around 7:30: the young lady says most people believe Christianity because it was taught to them by their parents, but then lifts up “practicing spirituality” as though it’s the true religion. But shouldn’t she be skeptical that spirituality was taught by parents? This goes to your point: we have to seek truth, not just live by our personal experiences.
Yes!!!!
We must believe everything Geezus and gawd says. The Christians are just crazy and delusional
Im only 1:45 into your video and yes, you are spot on! I said the same thing when I watched the original video.
Thanks for watching sis! 🥹❤️🙏🏾

That older woman was just bitter, angry and arrogant with no logical arguments.
The fact that there are different accounts in the gospels, can be explained by the fact that they are all written to different audiences. Each different audience is going to find different things important like how the gospel that was written to the Jews, mentions the infant bureau, whereas the other account do not mention the infant burrow
11:40
This argument in particular drives me batty because the Christians in North Africa were some of the very first to receive the Gospel.
For the last time the Ethiopian Bible is completely different from the king James VERSION
They still not going to care

I’m new to your channel. I love your content. You just got a new subscriber.
Thank you so much!!!!
Seen enough [near the end of video] to know your points were solid and from a truth position... so I'm glad to see you on youtube blessing others. 😊
Merry Christmas family
Merry Christmas sis!!!! 🎄🎁🎄
When a person doesn’t want the Gospel, they will find anything to not believe. They really just don’t want Jesus. These former Christians had very weak excuses.
All night!!!!! 😭😂😭😂

Thank you for this.

The Middle Man is Jesus. No one can come to the Father except through Christ.

But I do like that they engaged the women with love.. they did not get carried away.
We overcome by the word of God and the word of our testimony. Her answer was her answer.
Their response is typical. Most religious people make only an emotional appeal for their claim of authenticity about their belief system.
You don't know that. You assume that.
I have experienced the same.
I literally said the same thing when I watched this. I share a lot of your sentiments
They’ve allowed their negative experiences to distract them from what’s true. It’s very sad. 😢
@ yessss! I truly feel sorry for them 😢 because it’s from a place of hurt. Tbh, some of the responses from Christians made me cringe lol but thank you for sharing because this was helpful. I am baby apologist 😆 so I’m glad to see another woman who can defend the faith so eloquently and theologically!

Key points about the story:
The Ethiopian:
This man was a high official in the court of the Queen of Ethiopia, traveling back from Jerusalem after worshipping there.
Philip's role:
Guided by an angel, Philip approached the Ethiopian while he was reading Isaiah and explained the passage as referring to Jesus.
The key moment:
When the Ethiopian asked Philip to explain what he was reading, signifying his desire to understand the scripture.
Baptism:
Upon understanding the message, the Ethiopian immediately requested to be baptized, which Philip performed by the side of the road.
That woman who didn’t bring her receipt was clearly manifesting, that spirit inside of her was irritated.
This was an awesome review

Amen! I’m glad that you’re saved
Prayers
I love my sistas, BUT this is a significant reason why I’m not married. I come across SO many “church goers” in reference to another commenter…that when we get down to the real meat and potatoes of scripture…such as abortion. I would rather not choose them and just remain single.
Blessings to you and your channel maim.
May we proclaim the gospel even while we are going through.
The Bible has no contradictions it’s just mere man is interpreting the word which is spiritual and life John 6 v 63 without his spirit. A carnal spirit can’t interpret that which is spiritual
There are 2 types of people on that panel(BELIEVERS & UNBELIEVERS)
No. Believers and Knowers. Believers look for faith and Knowers look for facts. Your bible and preacher asks you to apply faith because they want you to believe. Your history and science teacher dont care about what you believe. The introduce you to facts because they want you to know.
The bible does have contradictions. Cmon Now.

Why do you all believe any kind of deity exists?
Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity for one.
@@TytusJones But what does that have to do with Yahweh? If man never gave you a Bible or a Quran and you just looked at Creation, how would ever come up with Allah or Yahweh being the creator of Creation if man never gave you his books?
@@whatshatnin4572the question isn’t about which God. The question is about IF God…
@@TytusJones The question is which god because you have to first prove the god. If you cant prove your god then we go look to prove the existence of the next person's god. I saw this as well video as well. Can’t argue with 🐑. My problem with Habermas is that he is also a Christian apologist. IMO that can’t be used as proof because he is defending his beliefs and looking to do so. And something I’ve noticed that this channel does and most apologists channels do (i.e. Wesley Huff) “most scholars believe”, “Most archaeologists believe “. Those statements don’t qualify as proof. Who controls that narrative? History is not a democracy of majority rules. Facts are facts so I’m a check out his books and decipher for myself.
