You can see it on Mr. Galia's face at 1:19 "I like the way you said that right there, I think you made our next advertising slogan" haha

I am currently using 12 400w qcell panels, I am in GA, just 1hr away from this plant. I wish Qcell would sell to the average customers. Would love to pick up a few more panels.

You should be able to buy these from Greentech Renewables near Atlanta.

@@SolarSurge Thank you. I check and Greentech does not show any location in GA on their site :(

Informative video, Joe. I think it is important, in the name of accuracy and to build credibility that we are more careful with verbs like "made" and "manufactured" in USA. These modules are "Assembled" here using offshore- manufactured cells. That sentence right there is sadly underused when discussing the assembly plants that have recently been established here by Asian manufacturers. If interviews in this situation contained this sentence, the follow up question would be easy: "Any plans to establish a supply chain stateside to onshore the polysilicon, wafer and cell manufacturing?"

Hi Gary. This is great feedback. Thank you. Qcells is currently building a new facility in Cartersville, GA that will produce solar ingots, wafers, cell, and solar modules all under 1 roof. 100% US supply chain.

Thanks Joe - Too bad they didn't have a video showing the step by step process.

Joe, Who makes their modules? Also, panels capture solar energy not solar power.

This video’s title is VERY misleading and is actually nothing more than a promo shoot for this manufacturer. This guy explaining solar panels and how they’re made is as clear and useful as driving blindfolded 🙄 Maybe a clear overview of the solar cell/panel component manufacturing process, using factory cutaways and example diagrams, would have been a lot more beneficial than an unscripted interview with a guy who is randomly pointing at something that wasn’t even zoomed in on. I’m all for made in the USA products and was expecting to see some actual “How It’s Made” footage.
